The Polymoon was closest to get almost something like a pad with the delays. Really cool. Especially all together. I will have to expand on your idea with the H9, DD-500 and Specular Tempus.

Dig, it sounds amazing, and I love the Strymon midi preset save process, just replaced my TimeFactor with Dig v2 and I'm loving it.

The entire EHX “memory” line is fantastic! Definitely don’t have to make a huge investment to get huge toan!

Bought the sde-3000 for $215 used. I own the dig v1 and adore it but wanted to see how the sde compared, as I believe the dig is more of a 2290 style delay. The halo is incredible too, I have the halo core which I use for an Echoplex style delay.

I've ran a Polymoon paired with an Alexander Pedals History Lesson, until I upgraded to their Rewind, on my board for a few years. And I've tried most of the decent delays on the market. The one notable shortcoming I've found with the Polymoon (excluding presets) is that it always softens the initial attack, regardless of how low you set the Dimension knob. While I often don't mind this at all, sometimes I want exactly what I play to be echoed. But the interface and level of control on this thing is absolute top notch. You should give the Alexander Rewind a look. It sounds excellent and covers so much ground in a single unit sized pedal housing.

Polymoon for me. Also love how Meris packs so much more into their pedals than just the expected. The Boss sounded great as well for a more mellow vibe. I just love the clarity with the Meris.

The DD-20 is incredible and one of my favorites! Mine is in the shop for a tune up but I can't wait to get it back!

This demo reminds me why I prefer analog delay, like tape emulation. The extended perfect echoes sound synthetic to me.

Little verb would help smear those out a bit, but I get you. It’s definitely a sound and it’s great to have it in your arsenal

They all do the dual delay thing really good. You know that Halo is Dialed in per AT for that pad like reverby thing. It's also based on dual memory man's so it would be nice for that analogy flavor. The polymoon is the most capable but I think it would be voiced too similar to the LVX. I say Halo. It's tough tho.

Halo or the Dig... leaning Halo. Polymoon's a multi-tap delay with various modulation options for making weird sounds. Not really in the same dual delay camp IMO. SDE sounds good but haven't used it so can't comment. Dig is an amazing dual delay, but Halo takes the cake for its specific filtering & modulation, so dialed in with its subtle stereo spread, fits into anything. I wonder how close to the Halo the Dig can get in its series mode... here in this video the Dig is set up pretty bright & ping-pongy.

Halo goes with nearly everything. Much washier to my ear. Polymoon very cool as well. I think it depends on what you're going for. Halo gives semblance of reverb which is always nice but may be redundant with the Mercury X.

Can there ever be too much reverb? ;) The Halo is quite lovely for sure! Polymoon is probably too redundant with the LVX though 🤔

@STROA13 the “Poly” delay structure on the LVX is a dual version of the Polymoon. It’s worth having both if you’re looking to feed the LVX with the Polymoon, but it also feels a little redundant maybe. If you love the Polymoon and want more then the LVX is a great upgrade!
