@@adiosgamer3793 Hey Adios Gamer! I deleted them all because I don't want to confuse the KZbin algorithm. I don't want to confuse KZbin with art videos & gaming videos. I still have many other gaming channels that I'm slowly growing (I have over 15 channels total), and I'm still passionate about gaming, but I decided that I wanted to express more creativity and create art on this channel. I know, at the moment, my recent video views look bad, but give it a few months and I think I can improve the views a lot. Thanks again my friend and have a great day 😊💚🙏

I took an 83% pay cut from KZbin in the last few months and can no longer support myself. The lack of warning before a channel gets stomped out is terrible and I’m now screwed as I haven’t prepared for basically not having the revenue I’ve had the last three years of me being full time on KZbin.

You’re not alone. Lots of KZbinrs had their best years in 2020 and 2021. I had to go back and get a job too. It sucks!

This was cool. My main takeaway from this is to let a popular video grow until its views trend downward. Then release a similar piece of content. I was doing sort of grasping in the dark on posting time before listening to Darrel.

Thank you! I bought your book and have listened to it twice. My channel is very eclectic. I started by posting fire fighting videos, since then I've done military videos, leather bag videos, and lately I have been doing movie reviews. Movies are what I am the most passionate about and I really feel I have a unique take and want to grow that side of my channel. However, my fire and army videos are constantly getting watched (over 100k) so I'm wondering if my channel is confusing the algorithm . Thank you.

Advice to anyone thinking of pursuing the fantasy of quitting your job and going full time with KZbin. Don't quit your job unless you are very confident (or making more money from KZbin) than your current job. The reality is KZbin is in fact somewhat rigged... if you are over the age of 30 something, the odds are stacked against you as YT does not like older people. If you are in your teens - 30's you have a better chance, but the more attractive types will have a better chance at succeeding. It's no different than Hollywood. There was a time when KZbin was more about "You" but those days seem to be over for the most part. There's also some evidence that KZbin/TikTok cherry picks the top creators. Just search for "TikTok heating videos" and read about it in the news story that will pop up. People that make it near the top are mere suggestions to be hand picked by KZbin. Factors such as age, looks, political correctness and more will determine if you get cherry picked or not. I wish KZbin advice channels and KZbin would be more honest about this, but until then, just trust me. Or ask yourself... when was the last time KZbin recommended a channel/video to you from an older creator?
