In this video, I'll go through how to stop living paycheck to paycheck.
If you ever feel a little tight on money at any point throughout the year then you’re most likely living paycheck to paycheck. But what you might not realize is that you’re not alone. In fact, almost 60% of Americans are living that exact same way so I would actually consider this normal. I even used to be one of those people so I know exactly how it feels.
You’re stressed out, always on edge, and you probably feel like life just made you eat a bunch of food, threw ya on a roller coaster, and now it’s taking you for a ride that it won’t let you off of.
Here's the video on the order to invest your money: • When To Invest in Your...

I agree with you 100%. I use to live paycheck to paycheck and I changed my way of living. I started living way under my means and fast forward one year later I’m sitting on a lot of cash. I have more money saved then my friends who make six figures. It feels so good. If I can do it, anyone can. Good luck guys.

I must say for me the only good thing about covid-19 is I’ve saved loads of money. No where to go so not buying petrol. Shops shut so nothing to buy except food and I’m not eating any different, it’s summer so using less gas and electric. I save money every month but since the lockdown my savings have gone up. I know everyone is different but for me it’s the only good thing about this virus. Thank you for all your tips they are brilliant and I’ve certainly taken them on board your a star

The next time you do a similar video... I think you should show people who get paid weekly. If you only spend 4 paychecks a month (48) paychecks a year, you can save a lot of money. I do this all year and save the rest. I just can’t seem to get others on board but I think you can if you explain it in a video. Love the video!

Hey Great video Jarrad. When I convinced a firend of mine to stop spending all his money he was making I told him stuff simulart to what you said in this video He was't to commited to it at first and still has some stuff to improve on but he is improving on his savings now and stuff and will soon have his phone and his car insurence paid off and stuff sense he has't moved out yet I did't say the like tire of spending things but I guess I did in a way to because I was telling him stuff like his phone bill and the other stuff he has to pay for nomatter what and gas and stuff like that is the most important and everything else besides the savings and stuff is't nearly as important right now until he can get a emingency fund saved up and stuff liked that. I did recmond however that he should do a budget and stuff but he did't at first but a few months later I got him to start a budget and stuff and now he is saving mostly everyhhting he is making right now. or as in budget I should say like writing down everything he makes and everything he is spending that's what I am doing as well. I have't catorgisized how much I should be spending on certain stuff yet for some things but I am still saving most of my money even though I have't done that part yet and sense I was saving mostly everything I made anyway before I did mine and he is saving most of his money he can now.

@@JarradMorrow Oh thanks I don't think I am that great thanks though. Yeah I would have been willing to teach you when you were younger but the thing is that was 10 years and I would have been only 10. So maybe not the best idea to learn from me then. lol. Thanks though Jarrad. I wish I was able to help him before he spent 20k he made from his job the year before that though he would be so ahead right now but I guess it's better that he learns after that, than not at all so in the long run he will be so much more ahead which is good I guess though.

Good morning handsome, Just watched your video.. there's some things I still have questions on, specially when you say stop doing a budget, which I have been following you on making budget and has helped me tremendously to put money on the side and for the first time to not live paycheck to paycheck.. so now you want to stop doing the budget? 🤔🤔 How I wish I could send you a message where you can help me understand some of the stuff you just said on your video. I already know.. ppl are going to comment here on what I just said.. Well.. have a good day handsome.. looking forward to your next video. 😘

No, that was directed more towards people who have never done one before to slowly ease them into the process of budgeting. If you've been doing one then keep doing it.

So when you say a boatload of money are we talking about Taylor Swift size or Nicki Minaj size, that's a huge difference lol. But seriously great video, I think taking ownership of your problems whether financial or not is key to success. I personally don't see all of them as my fault, more so the cards I have been dealt. Then I use that as motivation to improve my situation one step at a time.

Haha I said "buttload". That's actually a real unit of measurement used for alcoholic beverages. Your comment did make me laugh so thanks for that!

@@JarradMorrow Yeah sorry my autocorrect changed my buttload to boatload. But I learned something new, I had no clue that butt was an actual unit of measurement.

The best way I stopped living paycheck to paycheck was to first live below my means so that I could build up a 6-8 month emergency fund, and then throw the rest at getting out of debt. I will be out of debt in August, and then it will be pedal to the metal on my retirement savings. I definitely used your 2 extra paycheck a month strategy to help pay down debt dramatically over the past 3 years. My company switched to a bi-monthly pay cycle, but I already have a checking account floater money, and 6-8 month emergency fund in savings to bridge any gaps. Without debt payments, I should be able to weather a job loss for over a year before having to worry about anything. Looking forward to starting my Roth IRA in September. :)
