Bro I couldn't even keep up with the exotic ass names when I was making my choice, I wanted to choose the family of the guy with the white suit cause they were the best, and I thought I did, then like 5 hours later I realized I chose the military house in the armory. I was like fuuuuuuck. They should've let you look at each character to see their name when you were making the choice instead of being locked in dialogue.
@FerzenRPG3 ай бұрын
I chose Ka'dic because I remembered which house it was and because of new follower from this house :) But actually I didn't fully understand differences between houses before making this video.

Exactly my thoughts. Idk why they decided to change the dialogue camera / view from Fallout 4 and instead chose to make your character be locked in during dialogue scenes. In Fallout 4 you have far more freedom, you were never locked down like that during dialogue. Unrelated but the character creator from Fallout 4 was far superior to the one in Starfield as well. Both systems allowed the player far more freedom. I’ll never understand why they decided to change them or rather DOWNGRADE them to what we got in Starfield.

I was hoping that the choice would affect more than just dialogue. Like if you choose to let them accept people, they would take up shop in their embassy in New Atlantis or the opposite of choosing to go back to war and seeing open space ships throughout the galaxy. I like seeing the affects of my choices and not just people talking about it, in one city, if you decide to ever go back

That's ultimately (let's be real all, honestly) Beth's lazy or inconsequential writing for ya. If they didn't before, then the company fell off with Starfield, a new project with lots of great but haphazardly or inconsequentially implemented ideas or consequences. The irony is at some quest stages they even added maybe meaningless but fluff-boosting representation where you can highlight a faction you previously joined, only to ignore the scope of big things and add some more mid-term results of your choices. Was it too hard to ask to repopulate say the V embassy on New Atlantis based on your choices IF you have fulfilled the Vanguard quest, for example? Or showcasing renewed attacks on areas or POI by V zealots or actual military if you backed or enabled a second crusade, with some SSNN snippets to underline in addition? No it wasn't too much to ask for especially when you consider paying 30 bucks for the DLC. I hate to say it but the DLC is in some parts as lackluster and inconsequential or dare I say "unfinished" (or shallow) feeling as the base game. It has other great moments but the sad part is to me they are lost in the wasted potential the setting and game offered.

So, Ka'dic is the worst they open the gates to strangers and restore zeloth house. Va'thal are the Warlords, perfect if you want to start the serpent crusade. Dul'keph is the moral good choice, but citizen have a lot of work to do.

@@purpledevilr7463 Yeah it's a bit odd that they both imply reinstating the Zealots as their formal own house while at the same time loosening up the isolation and thus opening up to the settled systems. It just seems like Ka'dic is ab it of a wild card.

@@Unknown-ek1ox it seems strange but also makes some sense. The zealots simply want to continue the serpents crusade. Nothing about that is inherently anti-convert. But yeah they are the wild card.

Actually sad this wasn't given to you as option because of your prophetic enigma surrounding you but I feel Beth was lazy and didn't want to implement the changes around it. Beth being lazy or inconsequential or lackluster is actually the main core problem of a lot of wasted potential in the base game and DLC, to be real.
@IN-tm8mw3 ай бұрын
@@Unknown-ek1ox although i agree I'd be very cool that have that as an option, there is something i want even more than that, "provide disaster relief aid". I have 800 hours in just the base game and used that to build an empire of money making outposts, I want to find a way to provide aid to the city, materials, food, medial supplies, weapons, something. I was hoping if i was Speaker myself, i could see to those changes. But i'm still exploring every side quests and cave on the planet, so i'm not 100% sure that i can't find some way to open up more trade yet. I mostly feel like everyone get that the "lost potential" or "half baked" effect of the DLC is due to lazyness, when i think its more of a result of all the resources they diverted towards "patch work" across all the platforms so the game can remain playable. But i've been playing Beth games for years and its always felt like that within the first 3 -4 years. The only main problem i have is with the main stories plot of the Starborn. They are a big problem, yet you wanna be one too.

Dul'kehf is probably the best choice from the standpoint of the rest of the Settled Systems. By opening trade while essentially being "frenemies" the two sides will challenge each other to be better while still having a sense of common ground in understanding and cooperating with each other(within a limited scope). In comparison Veth'aal tends towards closeminded religious extremism while Ka'dic heads towards war(convert or die, especially with the zealots/Ma'leen returning).
