How did Carol Vorderman fit in Television South's "How 2" for ITV for CITV from 1990-1992 and for Scottish television "How 2" for ITV for CITV 1993 - 1996, 1998 with Yorkshire television Countdown for Channel 4 1990-1998?

Countdown took 40 days to produce a years worth of programmes. How 2 probably took a week to record a series. At this point she was on £900,000 a year for countdown and probably did this for fun. She certainly would not got as much as Fred.

@@Jaspacat1965 that's fascinating! I was born 1991! So I grew up with HOW 2 Fred Gareth and Carol! I expect Carol probably changed her hair make up and clothes and shoes etc for each episode! I remember a HOW 2 episode where Carol was demonstrating something to do with railways and she was operating a Hornby model railway layout with an BR Class 43 HST InterCity 125 in INTERCITY Swallow livery! I haven't seen it since I was a small child I'd love to see this episode again!

I always get Carol Vordeman confused with Claudia Winkleman for some reason. You don't see Carol as much as Claudia these days though.

@@Jozman2005 is she? I'm Australian so I've only really seen either of them via KZbin, we might've got Countdown out here but I doubt we've had much with Claudia on it. Claudia is definitely more inane than Carol, but only by a bit.
