I like that this description of a PR person relates to us being analysts who interpret the environment that the client is operating in; but the fact is PR people also craft messages, and responses to the environment - the qn then becomes what determines the messages we craft. I've decided its a complex blend of telling it as it is, figuring out what the best way to put it, and then leaving some room for public to interpret the story on their own terms. This allows each, the brand, and the public, to be held accountable for their decisions based on that interpretation.

Well, that is wonderful video, Howard. As a #PublicRelations professional, I feel like you explained it well enough for both industry professionals and layman. _____________________ Jamie I All Points PR -- #Chicago PR Agency allpointspr.com
