Could you please show a night silence mechanism. Thank you. Chime is very quiet, especially withe door open. Dislike the foreboding hourstrike. I would cut some of the rods to raise their pitch to produce major (happy) sound. (In one of our mantel clocks I filed a slightly flat rod.)

I don’t know if you still check these comments… but if you do, do you know what clock was chiming in the background at 2:08? It sounds the same as the hanging granddaughter clock that I grew up with at my grandparents, but I’ve never been able to find any information on it. Thanks in advance!

Remington D-50 likes to chime fast sometimes, he even knows why he needs to reset every eight chime strikes. The clock doesn’t need anyone to synchronize the TWIN-STRIKE movement pendulum because the clock does it himself! Clocks in my world are even given genders, depending on what it sounds like. EXAMPLE: EMPEROR is given the FEMALE gender due to how quiet and SLOW the clock is, I don’t even like it!

Arshia Omer depends on condition. We sold ours with a brand new mechanical unit and 2 year warranty for around $2500. However on the open market and buying from a private seller I would say in the $500-$1000 range

McGuire's Clocks okay the condition of the clock is very good however no warranty since it’s a private seller. Shes selling it for $1500. Are there any that are silver colored grandfather clocks that are not discontinued? I saw the Blayne but that one I heard is not a traditional grandfather clock where it works on batteries and the mechanical system is only for display purpose. Any recommendations?
