I think one of the saddest things about Chester in his passing is the lyrical content of all of his material. It always seems that the most abused and depressed artists produce some of the best material. The most twisted and saddening content, lyrically and emotionally, that we can relate to or understand, is written or performed by equally suffering souls. I just wish we could have helped him.

I relate to what Mike was talking about only for me it was an issue of class. I lived on the poor side of town and went to a Catholic School for the rich. At school I was made fun of for not having new, name brand clothes on everyday and in the neighborhood I was looked at as the preppy boy that was to good to go to school with them. Mike and Chester were close, they said at times they spent more time together than their spouses. I couldn't imagine how I would feel losing someone that close to me, and as a fan I was gutted when I heard about Chester. Mike was there for us fans, he did what he could to stay connected. Mike expressed his feeling, and I'm sure not all of them, in Post Traumatic, he was going through his grieving process while making sure we were OK. All admiration I had for Mike before grew a million times more after.
