PCB cannot reach the level of BCCI unless and until it becomes an independent board, free of any political interference! Pakistan cricket is now in shambles and will diminish soon, mark my words. The domestic infrastructure is almost destroyed, there is no school and club level cricket being played. International matches are only played in Karachi and Lahore. There are almost no international tours planned for Pakistan A team. The whole of PCB is politicized. Mohsin Naqvi, who does not know the A, B, & C of cricket is the chairman of the board. Babar's captaincy is very average and if he hasn't learned in the last 4 years as a Captain, he will never learn. Unless and until PCB becomes an independent board without any political interference, cricket will vanish like Hockey and Squash! It is as simple as that. Even the PSL will not be able to save it. When there is no merit and no accountability, no organization can grow!

Dr. Nauman... that was awesome. You are always better on this side of the table where you can answer to the point. I mention this because i have been critical of the way you put ''lame questions'' to Rashid Latif and Kamran Muffazar. Probably the best text book that PCB can pick up is from Australia. In the late 70's and early 80's; the Aussie team got fragmented by Packer series and lot of senior players went away. Under Border they perked up and havent looked back since. Also, why doesn't the PCB make contingency plans for a game rained out. If you are dependent on a game and it gets rained out and you get eliminated that is the PCB's fault. Why didn't the PCB check the weather forecast. Why didn't they make a contingency plan just in case rain was scheduled. What if the Indians and Americans conspired to use a weather machine? Again, here the PCB was caught with their pants down being lazy, and unprepared. Why blame Babar? Even the India Pakistan match was almost rain delayed, why not schedule every match for two different days in two different places just in case of rain? Remember in the 2017 champions trophy Pakistan lost to India in the group stages, and almost never qualified for the second round. They got lucky, that another team won a match and then they qualified. Once Pakistan got warmed up and had some momentum, they were unstoppable. So, the PCB knows Pakistan needs to last in a tournament to build momentum, the Indians shut them out in New York, using every trick in the book. Why did the PCB surrender. Also, Fakhar Zaman would have been perfect for the super over, he is by far the best long-distance hitter we have plus he is right-handed, why did the coach not play him for the super over. Again, this was the coach, and the PCB's decision not Babar's. Babar did well all in all given the corruption, laziness, and incompetence of the PCB. Pakistan vs India, Pakistan lost by 6 runs. PCB vs. BCCI PCB was destroyed and beheaded on all ten metrics. The problem is the PCB, are no match for BCCI. Remember the legendary Chinese philosopher Lao Tsu, the war is won before it ever starts. The BCCI takes that wisdom very seriously and engineers the best possible circumstance for Indian cricket, while the BCCI is caught sleeping.
