Disassembly is not hard. But that cables soldered to motherboard will be the big problem.

not only that but damn near everything is paired to the logic board in software so if you replace the battery or screen or cameras or faceID sensor you don't get full functionality

I don't really like videos where stuff was pre opened. The critical part about the 12 series is the display opening since it is completely differen to previous iPhones. (atleast more difficult due to the adhesive being much more stronger and the display sitting much deeper in the frame while being thinner than previous displays).

Yes, the Face-ID hardware programmed to motherboard and it cannot be replaced. If you replace it, the face id will stop working.

Just so you know, the board is serialized to the phone. If you change it, the new board won't work well with the phone. You need to go to an Apple Store to get the new part paired with your phone.

Okay, I'm not so sure.... Reparability 6 of 10? Please excuse me but I would give this straight 1 of 10, or even 0 of 10 if it even existed due to Apple pairing everything! You cannot replace camera, battery, Face ID and so on... This alone makes not worth buying new iPhone 12, at least for me, I don't know what other people think about it. If it is for changing adhesive and any missing buttons or cracked back glass, then it is OK, but when it comes for camera or front panel... Just my opinion :)
