I love comedy and I have to agree Norm was one of the best. I had pages of jokes almost like the ones from SNL and him being the news basher and was going to contact him of what he thought, this was 1-2 months before he died. I love his style of comedy. RIP to both Norm and Bob.

Stil can't believe it. First Norm, now Bob. You could tell how devasted he was about Norm's passing he was in his podcast. As Howie said: I sat there crying with him when I listened to it. Love Howie's take on hit, though: he went out doing what he loved and with a "bang", and in the end, that's more than most of us could hope for. Thank's, Howie. You're a class act.

Thank you for posting this. Bob Saget and Norm Macdonald were comedians that I didn't really appreciate until I got a bit older, but once I did I LOVED them. Unfortunately they both passed right when I was at the peak of being a huge fan. Your words took me out of my own feelings and put real perspective on his death and your right, he went out in the best possible way. Thank you for that, Howie. That said, don't you go dying on us! Love ya, Howie!

Man, that comment just made me think of my Mom-Mom, she’s 86 and has outlived all 10 of her brothers and sisters and their respective spouses, 9 (at least that’s what I can count off the top of my head) nieces and nephews, her husband, 3 of her own children, a grandson, a great grandson, a son in law, and the dozens of local matriarchs and patriarchs that she’s grown up with and raised families alongside of. I can’t imagine experiencing that type of loss…but then as I think of it, I have lost those family members, too. How amazing the human condition is.
