yes got into wild camping about 2 yrs ago tank and i luv it im from liverpool but now living in west lancashire so there,s loads of places to wild camp from woodland to up the beacon a 1000ft hill by our,s it was used as a antenna TV beacon yrs ago and now its for hikers and dog walkers. i have done 6 camps now and just come off one thursday gone but yes i seen you doing a camp with adam wild wales been watching him for yrs it was him who got me into camping i even got my first tent what im still using now what he was reviewing the eurohike tamar 2 anyway thanx for that tarp tent because i haven,t tryed that yet because im just gettin into winter camps and they look light to what im carrying now a 2.7 kg tent

Need to try this next time I'm on the field 👍👍 and love the brew kit by the way I have very similar. Ration packs go a long way when you scrounge other folks unwanted brew kit. Need to get there jet boil you have to 👍👌

Pull the sheet tight, it's around about lower rib hight on me so around 4ft..

​@outsidertank Amazon sells a wide variety of very good nylon tarps,in sizes from 8'x8', 10'x10' (most popular), and larger. And in a variety of weights. I have 3 Amazon tarps and no complaints.

Is it possible to make this kind of tent / shelter configuration with 2-3 canvas palatkas tied together? I suppose it would be much bigger and heavier than with a basha and it would need extra pokes and ropes?
