Anyone else made this and was blown away? Great recipe Latif 👌I must admit I was a bit surprised to see English Mustard, Cider Vinegar and Oregano in the recipe, but they were genius! I grew up in Blackburn, so I know Asian food, this is up there, esepcially when the Mrs and I taste tested it against a jar version (Amina's) which was also good, but nowhere near this version Latif - great video and thanks 👍

Your recipe for Tandoori Chicken looks amazing. One request, however, I am at an age where my short term memory is not what it once was. Could I request that in addition to the ingredients, that you also list the steps to prepare and cook all of your recipes. I know it is time consuming but it would certainly be appreciated. Bon Appeit.

- slice holes in to the chicken to make it soak up the marinade - wash the chicken thoroughly -prepare the marinade mix it - add the chicken then massage it into the marinade - let sit sit for ideally a day in the fridge if not at least an hour - preheat the grill on your oven - once heated cook on the grill for 10 minutes on each side - once the second side has cooked for at least four minutes add the tomatoes and start caramelising the onions on the stove -To finish off fry the onions, tomatoes and finished chicken for about to minutes using drizzled olive oil - serve hot and enjoy👍🏾

Hey Bob, chop the chicken into chunks then put in the marinade. Toss to coat and put in fridge 1 to 4 hours. Then skewer the chicken and grill it. You'll end up with smokey rich juicy chicken. Even in the winter.

Hi Latif I made this yesterday so easy ...sensational....no more take away! We take turns making dishes for my sport club normally 40 people. I know you can't always just multiply all recioe ingredients to make larger amounts. I believe you said the quantity of marinade in the video would do 1.5 kg, Max, I'd be so grateful if you tell me how I calcukate ingredients to make larger quantities of the marinade all at the one time? Many thanks your avid fan Geegee

I'm so glad you posted this. I've had this dish three or four times in my life and hated it every time because the chicken was bone dry. I began to think it was supposed to be that way LOL but I see it is not supposed to be dry. I'm going to give it a whirl. I've made several of your recipes. And I've enjoyed every single one of them LOL in fact I just stocked the kitchen with all of the Asian Indian ingredients needed for making it all. I appreciate all you share with us!

If you truly want the chicken to be juicy and very tender, then cook exactly as he did, but wrap the chicken in foil and allow an extra 5/8 minutes of cooking time. I personally also put half a lemon inside the foil wrapping with the chicken. Promise you won't be disappointed.

Yo, just coming back to the video to share that I made this and it's AMAZING! Thanks for the recipe! Cooked mine in an air fryer. Works best in a single layer, even in units with separate shelves, but you can still do a couple of racks if you're willing to shuffle them about a bit. 200C 22mins turn them 2/3 of the way in, and if you're doing 2 shelves, swap them round at this stage too.

I reckon throwing in a tin of chopped tomatoes into the tray with five minutes to go would make a lovely sauce to add to the onions when mixed with the chicken juices and tandoori mix
@imran341003 жыл бұрын
That could work quite well but adding a whole tin would perhaps make the masala (the onion and tomato mix) a little sweet. You could try using half a tin or some some 2/3 fresh tomatoes on the vine. But that’s the beauty of this kind of cooking, you can play around with it to suit your own taste.
