There are lots of videos on the E46 regarding belt and pulley change. But your's is the only one that dealt with taking off the fan. Good job

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. The video was essential for me to be able to make the necessary repairs on my 2002 BMW 320i 2.2 24v. My name is RaGe and I live in Brazil, on the southern border with Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay

Is it T50 or T60 for the tensioner? Both sizes were said. Also is there any info on what type of wrenches were needed for the fan. I started pulling apart the car following along the way and got to the fan and had to stop. Wish I'd watched the video first. All in all a great video!

How about the powersteering pump pulley? Do you have a removal and install video of that?
@HowtoAutomotive Жыл бұрын
I don’t have a video but they’re usually just held on with 3 10mm bolts pretty simple to do
@andrewc2002 Жыл бұрын
@HowtoAutomotive You would think. But I attempted to do it on my 04 325CI and it's fused onto the shaft. I read on the forums alot of guys actually breaking the pulley trying to pry off and tearing stuff up
