I think I'm going to use 3x5 index cards. Long term requests are one color, short term URGENT are another color, etc. Put them in a box or use a rubber band, and put it in the prayer closet. Keep some in the Bible, purse, pocket, desk drawer at work, or glovebox of the car...any place you can think of that someone may approach you for prayer. (Just remember to add them to the main stack ASAP!) Then you can flip through the cards as you pray for each person, remove the ones that have been answered (save them in a special place for a reminder when you need a faith booster!)

I found out the hard way that whatever works for one person didn't work for me. I was super intentional. I received a prayer box to store the written requests for a gift, but I never went back and wrote when they were answered. haha. I just recently broke down and bought a prayer journal from an ad on my FB. It has a daily section and the long term ones. I'm hoping I will be consistent and keep up with it. These are all really good ideas and tips! One thing I do if I forgot to pray for someone is I stop and pray for them I'm that moment and then I reach out to check on them and see how they are doing or how things worked out. I don't feel the need to mention I forgot or to mention I prayed but just showing care is what matters. God already knows the need and His response isn't contingent on our prayer alone. Also with long lists I will pray like this, "Lord, you know every need on this list and I lift up every person and every situation to you and ask for Your will to be done and that You would take care of each need on this list. Thank You for being such a Good Father who cares about these needs." Something along those lines. Thank you for these videos! They are so inspiring Faith.💗

This series on prayer journaling of yours is where I am struggling most and just hearing you say “give yourself grace” and that what works for most might not work for me is so refreshing because I feel guilt when I can’t keep track of them all and I think getting a better system in place now (and don’t put it off) will really help me to just be me and be sincere and joyful when praying and keeping track.

Faith, this is so timely!! I was just talking to a family member (right before I clicked on your video notification) about how I have 2-3 pages filled up with prayer requests from family, friends, church, community, world, etc. But I always feel guilty if I don't take time to focus and say a prayer dedicated to each one every single day. I know there's grace, and God knows our hearts and the guilt is just in my mind and not from God, but I still need advice on how to keep up with them and effectively pray for them. I have a box called My prayers and there are card that I have put family and very good friends on where I pray for them all the time. The journal I will pray for and that is where I pray for them once a month. Plus the journal is updated every Wed night and people will take off it or put on it

For all that believe in the power of prayer....please please send prayers to my Son Christopher. He is having surgery #1 on Wednesday and needs all the prayers he can get. He is having surgery on one leg Wednesday and in a couple weeks the other leg. He is unable to currently walk due to the pain from Achilles and bone spurs in both legs. He is only 36 years old and just asking to have the pain reduced and be able to play outside with his little guy and be able to walk like a 36-year-old man should be able to. He has struggled with high blood pressure since he was 15 years old and from all the years of the blood pressure issues he is also having kidney issues and is a high risk for these surgeries and still needs a back surgery after the legs are better. Please also include the Doctors and Nurses who will care for him and who are doing his surgery and pray for his little boy and his wife. The power of prayers is amazing and so greatly appreciated.

I'm in a desperate situation and I already cried out to God about it I have rats in my condo I live in a townhouse three floors and it seems to only be me that has it and I've had them for about 9 months now and some of gone away suddenly killed but there's new set is not cooperating to get out or dial whatever and I could lose my condo and all that I paid for it's all paid for and the condo is now starting to listen to me it's ruining my house it ruined five walls adore a couch two pocketbooks tons of bags clothing and the list goes on and on they're going to a fire them and get a new one eventually if I could show them more evidence which I just have I sent him pictures but just pray for my Insanity please I've already cried out to God about this a few times I've given it to God and I know God's going to help me either way whatever happens but just keep me in your prayers please

Please pray that my firefighter partner, Jamie, of 14 years, comes back home to me and our children. Please pray the female firefighter (Dee) from his work, that he is seeing, is removed from his life and finds her best as he is not her best and she is not his best. We are his best. Remove that seductive spirit in Jesus' name. Pray she is transferred to a different fire station in a different city. God meant for families to stay together. The devil wants to destroy them, but I won't allow this for my family. Please pray that every time he goes to see her or when he is about to sin, that God stands in his way. Please pray he quits smoking. Pray he finds Jesus,l and salvation as he has announced he is atheist now, pray for forgiveness, and he repents for hurting his family. Please pray for restoration, peace, and healing in my family. Pray my son's renew their faith again, and their hearts heal. Pray Jamie steps up to be the father they deserve. Please pray that Jamie sees me with renewed eyes from now on and finds love for me again. Please pray the right labourer crosses his path and leads him back to the lord. I am struggling with this battle as it seems to be getting worse. I pray my faith stays steadfast. Thank you. Amen
