Polar Bears are massive, carnivorous large terrifying bears. I seen one up close at The Maryland Zoo and i was absolutely blown away by their sheer size. At first i didn’t think they were such beast until i walked up to the actual exhibit at The Zoo. And when he stood up on his hind legs it looked as if it was 7 feet tall almost. Its paws were bigger than my whole head and the claws were extremely long and razor sharp. They are mind blowing and jaw dropping to see up close and in person. It’s nothing like you see on tv than in person. So therefore i give the edge to The Polar Bear they are stalkers that love the intensity of hunting their prey. And will kill you in seconds even if you play dead they are extremely extremely extremely intelligent and smart. They had a school bus an old school bus inside its enclosure for them to sleep in and go inside of for play and The Zoo Keeper says that when they stand up on their hind legs that they can see inside of the school bus just by standing upright. I didnt believe it until i literally seen him stand up and look inside of the bus as if it was nothing at all to do for him just that easy.

Ankle biter? Pandas have severely injured people, almost killed people, killed other animals, severely injured eachother and have been seen gnawing on bones… bite force similar to a lion and higher than a black bear… They are way more dangerous than people think and definitely deserve more than just „leaving a scratch“

I've got news for you, buddy. Black bears can weigh in well above 170 kilos. Many have been harvested above 300 kg in North Carolina. I don't know if the world record still stands, but one weighed in at 800 lbs (about 363 kg).

There are several reasons as to why polar bears should be nr. 1 by a solid margin. 1. They are the largest land carnivore on the planet. And as we all know, size really does matter in a fight. There is a reason why we divide mma fighters and other combat sport fighters into weight classes. 2. They are obligate carnivores. 3. Polar bears’ menu is larger than the other bears. Imagine dragging tons worth of food on land and sometimes through water, making them strong as hell. 4. There is a reason why professors’ saying is “if it’s black fight back, if it’s brown lay down. If it’s white goodnight”

In mma it’s mostly because HW fighters would just lay on the smaller opponent and obviously be to heavy to Move. The early days of ufc proved that the more skilled smaller fighter can beat a HW
@anon86333 ай бұрын
@@eulojiorodriguez1497 that was due to bjj which was a relatively new martial art designed specifically to be effective against larger opponents. This is not the case anymore. So heavyweights beat smaller weight classes on average still and it is also due to ko power, chin and generally just being much stronger.

I was putting away chickens for the night looked up and bear found her just looking at me. Now its been a few years and pretty sure she knows i have no intention of hurting them got to watch cubs walk with her and play while i was outside obviously i do not approach them.

The only changes i would make to this list is maybe moving the Grizzly down into the dangerous and menacing tier along with the Sloth Bear and leaving the Polar as the sole bear in the say your prayers tier. Sloth bears are smaller yes, but they are far more likely to attack you than a healthy Grizzly bear, and their attacks are just as devastating. Only reason i would keep the Grizzly in the same tier as the sloth bear is because Grizzly bears can become predatory toward people while Sloth bear attacks are pretty much self-defense gone way too far

In Helen ga where I’m from the black bears have become a problem. They used to not be as bad but with more housing being built up here and more expansion the bears are getting more used to us and aren’t scared anymore. A couple years ago me and my dad were fishing at a creek called dicks creek which at the time had only had 2 previous bear sightings. That singular day we saw 6 bears along the road and even had one get in the back of the truck while we were down the river fishing. Ik plenty of people from around that want us to start hunting them and killing them off but I say it’s not their fault we are expanding into more and more of their land and they are getting used to it

Humans are the deadliest bears
@futuresonex4 ай бұрын
-- Black bears are predatory and do occasionally prey on humans. The vast majority, some 80% plus, of fatal black bear attacks are predatory in nature. The bear hunted, killed, and fed on the victim. Sadly, reacting properly could have prevented most of the deaths. The bear will often stalk its intended victim while trying decide whether the person is prey or not, and the person will often see the bear well in advance of the attack. The fatal mistake is trying to appear non-threatening when what you should to is wave your arms in the air, yell, throw rocks, etc... You have to convey the message that, "Hey, I am dangerous! I am not food! If you attack me I will be eating YOU for dinner, not the other way around!" Unfortunately, most tourists don't take the time to learn about & understand bear behavior before venturing into bear habitat, and that can lead to fatal results. Trying to appear non-threatening to a bear that's stalking you is basically telling it that you'd make a great main course. Sadly that scene played out in the Northeast a few years ago. All the kid knew about bears was to appear non-threatening to avoid an attack...which was the exact wrong thing to do. The black bear killed him and ate him. Had he instead made himself look threatening and dangerous the bear would have almost certainly ran away and not come back. -- If you're heading into bear country and it's at all possible, TAKE A DAMN GUN THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO USE!!!!!! Bear spray is also a good idea, and it's best to have both. Personally, I recommend a big-bore handgun that you keep on your person AT ALL TIMES. Having a rifle or shotgun is great too. As long as they're the right caliber and loaded properly a rifle or shotgun is far more effective than even the best handguns, but as sure as shooting when that bear makes his move that long-gun is going to be leaning against a tree just out of reach! I've spent a heck of a lot of time in both black bear & grizzly country. I've had both come through my camp more than once, and I've never had a problem. Still, I ALWAYS have a big-bore handgun on my person, and, whenever possible, I carry a rifle and bear spray as well. I am perfectly at peace with the thought of going to my grave having carried my heavy-ass gun all over creation without ever needing it, but I absolutely do not want to go there wishing I had it!!!!! -- Also, bamboo is a grass, not a tree.

But the thing is that panda bears rarely attack humans. Panda bears don't usually decide to kill humans like some black bears, some grizzly bears and most polar bears do. Panda bears are more focussed on eating bamboo most of the time, and they will usually fight back if they are threatened or the person has already attacked them.
