Again, really terrific useful content. Jake's openness to throw his own subjective biases into the equation speaks volumes, eg @26:38. That's a rare talent among experts unfortunately imo.

Hey Jake, hope you get well soon :), can’t wait for the 70m scoring and full review of gmx 3 and axia foam Just curious if you could explore the draw chart curve of the Hoyt axia ilf and compare to the wiawis MXT XP ilf? I think it would be interesting to see the difference between the two brands

Where can we found this type of data (draw chart curve of different limb's manufacturer). I'm interested in. I'm a long draw lenght guy (31"~31,5") with a moderate strenght (my max weight will be 38 # at full draw I think). I'm searching for maximum confort at full draw. I use 70" bow for the moment, perhaps i'll go to 27" riser. Thanks.

I guess my biggest concern would be all the white printing, which I just know will turn yellow with time due to the acid used in white print (unless they've anticipated this and used some kind of acid free print)

curious on your thoughts of the Hoyt Axia wood and foam. If you could provide your thoughts on both limbs?

Hi Jake, will you review the new barebow weight for the gmx?

Hey Jake great video. since you have tried and reviewed so many different bows over the years. What would be the most "bang for the buck" olympic recurve bow setup you would recomend? You know without going all out and buying the latest and greatest.

Hi Jake, have you tried using thread lock glue instead of raw torque to fix screw threads in place? These things work great for bike suspension, I would imagine they will work great for bows as well.

I thought about adding a Teflon or nylon washer in the tiller bolt to soften the crush on the limb edge.

I've done that on my barebow set up to get a small amount more weight with the bolts maxed down. Got to be careful not to havr the limbs go beyond flat against the bolt though

With the delrin pads at the end of the limb, does that now mean you could also turn tiller bolts in further than other limbs before the bolts contact flat on the limb surface? Or is extra care needed to not overtighten them?

Hi Jake, thanks, great content again! I‘ve got the same set-up (GMX3 and Axia syntatic limbs). I wonder if your limbs reach (enclose) the tiller bolts? I have ~1 mm space between the bolt and the bottom of the limbs semi-circle (whatever that is called). I can shoot, but hear also a kind of „cracking“ when pulling the bow, similar to your testing of the older Axia limbs, but louder.

Do you think the new geometry of the GMX3 and XD are an improvement and or has effected the balance and action? I noticed that a lot of the Koreans switched back to the Xceed after using the XD.

Why not make "washers" for tiller bolts instead? Easier to use, replace and would fit all ILF limbs. I like HOYT limbs because they are not that "snappy" as W&W. They feel more like I'm used to - traditional wooden limbs :D.

Jake just a quick question currently transitioning from a win win ATF dx to a gmx3 I shoot 47lb on the fingers with 30in draw and 70 limbs trying to work out what poundage limbs I need to maintain that draw weight on the fingers So is it possible for you to tell me min and max weight achievable on the fingers with 70 42lb limbs

Morning, Legend. What's the three thou difference in limb bolt diameter look like on a 70m round score, everything else being equal? Is it within the standard deviation around your current 720 mean score or is it significantly different? Apols if you've done a video on this and I've missed it.

Product Announcement: Precision Tiller Bolts | A Passion for Precision kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJrVdWBpn7itqpI here is a video showing how much of a difference it can make. IIRC the gap between the limb and the tiller bolt was in the .008” neighborhood and the groups could be shifted around 10” or so down at 70m by bumping the limbs. This bow had .0035” gap so it would shift the groups less but to me, still potentially significant.

For a Barebow Recurve Archer: With tiller split as measured would it be advisable to reverse limbs (bottom on top/ top on bottom) to get a negative tiller to start a tune?

Those are pretty loud limbs compared to my mxt 10. The mxt 10 are silent and fast as hell

Mxt 10s are an absolutely unbelievable limb, probable one of the best ever. Unfortunately a lot blew up so it seems win and win have played it safe and made a slower limb in their new mxt xps. Sad really the mxt 10s we’re stunning to look at and so quiet and smooth and lightning quick. The axias feel close, and they’re a really good limb too, but the mxt 10s we’re just in a league of their own.

An ither awesome review.🫡 @Jake would you recommend using the highest vertatune plate when we shoot your LPP grip? I have one on 2 risers and can adjust plunger height on both. Cheers :-)
