Hopefully it's more reliable. I've been stuck with the MX Master for a while now as I'm so used to using it, but boy is it unreliable. I'm on my third MX Master (3rd gen) and I hope that I can switch to something else when it inevitably fails. That, or maybe Logitech knows that they don't have the monopoly anymore and the third gen is actually reliable.

Does this use any Logitech MX Hardware, the way it's set up looks very similar to a Master MX mouse. Like the on-off switch looks absolutely the same, even the interface and functionality of the software looks very similar.

No, Fn keys, Esc, =, PgUp/Home/etc, backspace, etc. but no Ctrl, Shift, Alt.

Not that smooth cursor movement in Bluetooth mode, the scroll is too slow and rolls too freely, so if you release your finger it might scroll back, no driver to customize it, cannot pair the matching keyboard (HP 970) to the same dongle, hard to press the buttons (especially the right one). Would be so nice, too bad no one tried it in real life before releasing it.
