If I had watched this first before I started trying to open this laptop then I really wouldn't have bothered! I've seen banks easier to break into. Great video though thanks, saves me smashing it up in a rage ;-)

Great video. Thanks for sharing it. I managed to strip my laptop with no trouble by following your guide.

Man, you sure did a huge job in short period of time and made it look easy but I noticed how you put thermal paste only on CPU but not on north bridge at 16:27, despite that prior there was thermal paste on both before you cleaned it. This makes me thing that laptop was for video only, not for actual using afterwards. Have same low end laptop with same dust and old thermal paste problem, and I call it single use laptop for its no meant to service since build like that, but despite I sill plan do confidently follow your video to do it. Thanks your skill gave me confidence and knowledge to do it myself. But Dell E6520 is peace of cake for changing thermal paste and cleaning since I have it too and is build to last and service and taking apart. This days in 2022 Dell still seems to have much higher quality than HP and everyone else.

Very difficult.

The CPU in mine is an Intel T4300. 🙄 Supposedly, if the chipset on the motherboard is a GL40 (800 MHz FSB), the maximum CPU you can upgrade/replace it to is an Intel T6600 (by official confirmed cases). But a T7250, T7700 might work too. But if you have a GM45/PM45 chipset then you can go for CPUs that have a 1066 MHz FSB. The P8700 has been confirmed in many cases to run successfully. However you can even go higher... like T9550, T9600, T9700, T9800, P8800, E8135, E8235, E8335 & E8435. But these are unconfirmed. 🤔😨😎

@Soriahz / Laydn by integrated gpu has busted any advice? It operates with broken signal almost giving you epilepsy not user friendly
