Without you I didn't get it! Thanks a lot for this instructions! With the 1312 you have to get back into the menu once more after pressing left and escape to see the 2nd menu.

I just got one of these (used, spares-repairs off ebay, £42 with two nearly full toners and two near-empty but useable) and it had the pickup issue, and on inspection that pinch roller was pretty cracked up from poorly made rubber, didn't have a spare on hand, so I took the rubber band (reminds me of a Kirby belt, similar material, just smaller diameter than a Kirby belt) off the plastic frame, turned it inside out, refitted it and it has made for a good temporary fix, just need to get a proper replacement kit now and it'll be a bargain printer... :)

Kathleen Giacalone putting it at a 45 degree angle should be fine, but as a precaution we suggest removing all toner cartridges and wiping any excess toner powder out of the machine and unplugging it. The worry is getting toner on the laser scanner, you will then need to clean/replace that too
