Amen!!! I have problems e ery time I try to print. It ALWAYS tells me my printer is not available. And wastes sooooo much paper telling me how to set it up if I never have set it up before!!! I hate this printer and this app. There is nothing smart about it!!!

I have just connected this printer via home WiFi. Not even switching to printer's WiFi was needed. All I had to do thru the Smart HP app was to tell the printer what my WiFi network name is, also the password. This way everyone at home can setup this on their devices and print. No HP account needed what so ever.

I can print even if I’m not using the app just connect the wifi to PRINTERNAME,but hp series frequently have glitch even if not wireless.

when clicking on the Deskjet at the wifi level, does it have the same password as your wifi password? or does the Deskjet 3700 have some special password? because my phone is asking for a password at this level.

I am sorry I brought this printer. Hooking up to a phone, bull...I had a printer, it was a cannon ❤ It hooked up to my tablet, or lab top. You have to go all out for apps and remember how to put it all together..😢
