.......This is better than a manual.......I picked- up one of these printers as I have an HP computer and thought it would be easier to synchronize...The printer is not too expensive and I'm hoping it will get the job done....It didn't come with a set- up guide so this video really helps

I followed the HP instructions nothing. I followed your instructions and it started working minutes later . The only difference was that you said to push the buttons until the power lights starts flashing and the other instructions said to push on the buttons for 3 seconds . Thanks !

I did your set up up to the point if select printer from the Bluetooth list. Mine doesn't come up. I went through all the steps to find my printer. Including finding on their list. It was nit on there either. This printer was set up At one point. But some reason disconnected. Now I can't get it set up again. Do you have any ideas or a video if this happens. Please help. I don't want to buy a new printer

Yes you can do that with wifi direct setup. Its inbuilt wofi of printer.

There has long been an easier way than downloading the app, or messing with PIN codes. I have had this printer for many years and every time my wifi changed there was a short video that reminded me how to push two buttons on the printer and then push my WPS button on my modem then it would connect in just 15 seconds or so. No downloading apps or nothing. Now I cannot find that video and all I can find are your's, but you seem to not know how to do this simple method. What gives?

Its insecure connection but you can trust it. I am not sure why its ot working. Best to do the wifi direct setup again and it will work fine.

The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.

This didn't help at all. Holding down those buttons for 5 seconds didn't do anything. The HP Smart App can't find my printer even though My phone is connected to WIFI and the printer would be on the Same wifi. What does the exclamation mark mean on the printer? Why isn't my printer listed in the HP Smart App. So frustrating to see everyone else has success yet I can't get anything to recognize the printer. What a piece of crap. I even "Pulled down to update the printer list" in the app but that didn't help. Nothing I am doing is working.

Plz keep printer near your router and try again, it looks like signal issue for printer. Once setup you can keep it anywhere in wifi range.
