Yep tried this but it prompts for a password. So I don’t know HP’s password…

I did that and found the default password is 12345678 but once it’s connected, I click back on the HP app and it prompts me to start over! I’m so over this printer.

Why was this far easier to follow than the links the company sends to watch? They should be paying you to use this link for set up instructions because what they offer isn't helpful. I was really considering throwing this out and getting another printer. Thank you!

this was only helpful the first time I connected to the printer if you are struggling connecting to the internet for the 2nd time just go to settings on computer then go to devices and then printers and scanners and add your printer to it. it worked for me after 30 minutes of trying to connect

If it’s not found. Click on your printer from the Wi-Fi options then go back to the hp app and it will ask you to put in your Wi-Fi password. Hope this helps, it just worked for me. Make sure you get back under your regular Wi-Fi once complete.

One important step, this only works on the 2.4hz wifi NOT 5G so be sure you are in the correct band.
