I hate this printer.i just bought it and got it all set up. It worked once and the next day now it only sits on the purple pulsing light.says not connected wireless.ive literally done everything to connect to my internet and still nothing but the stupid purple light.i just want to talk to a person to tell me what to do.

I absolutely hate this thing. I dont understand why it is so high in price if it is such a frustrating product. Mine keeps saying that the door is open and its not open. Then it keeps disconnecting from the internet. I'm bringing this thing right back to where I got it. Does anyone have any other printers they suggest?

How can I turn off wifi on this printer? I don't want a wireless set up but a wired one and when I turn on for the first time the printer, HP wants me to force connect it to wifi and there is no way out of this mode.

There is a VERY tiny wireless button above the power button (next to the power cord plug in) in the back of the printer. You can toggle it on and off there.

I just purchased this printer but why is it not connecting to the wifi, it spins endlessly at "Preparing the printer" and i did touch the wifi button on the back for 3 seconds. Help, pls.

I have question: Do you have to use your phone to print the documents? I have the HP printer next to my Laptop. I want to print some document in my computer. It seems complicated to me. Do I have to be connected to Internet whenever I want to print some documents in my laptop. Please help. Thank you.

If printer is online then it can be ised woth any device. If you have issue then use printer data cable and connect it to the laptop to ise whenever you want.

I opened one of the word documents and selected print, then selected HP Envy pro 6448, to make sure it will print. Because I have another printer that I have. Even if it shows the ink level is halfway, it acts as if it is printing, but it really does not print anything. What do you think, maybe I should get new ink cartridges? Thank you.

I set the printer up through my galaxy 9 phone. The first day it worked. Now it's stating the printer can't be located

HP makes their money on the ink cartridges and I totally believe that. The cost of the color 67 cartridge is now $20. You will end up paying more for ink than the printer itself. AND HP has applied a chip on the cartridges so they are non-refillable.

It's a piece of crap. I cannot print a document from my desktop at all. There are too many apps. What happened to the USB plug in and do it that way? It forces you to go through the app.

i can't get this thing to connect any more - my son just swapped out with me so i could keep trying to troubleshoot it but we got it initially set up but won't connect any more very frustrating - never had this issue with a printer before

Looks easy, and it should be, but the smart app doesn’t find my printer. I’ve tried it on my Android phone, desk top and laptop. Worst printer I’ve ever owned. The only thing it prints is the HP logo.

I've tried to reset everything multiple times, the wi-fi button is flashing, the WPS light on my router is flashing... and it simply refuses to cooperate. I'm ready to throw the damn thing through a window.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

HP cheaped out on putting a physical LCD screen on this printer. They make you use your smartphone. Now it says I need a computer to set it up lol. Will return this POS.
