Black Screen of death, the phone is running but the display is black. I have used every known troubleshooting method to resurrect it but it's clear at this point that it suffered a hardware failure while charging overnight on a wireless quick charger (not sure if it's related).

I just replaced an old HP printer with an instant ink capable model. I like the idea of paying a very small monthly fee instead of needing to print something only to find I need to run out and drop $60 on ink. I think its a great idea. HP still make money because they recycle the old cartridges, I will save money on printing and never run out of ink.

Why is this printer considered an all-in-one in some descriptions when it doesn't scan? Also, it's impossible to connect this printer to a device that's connected by way of ethernet. The software doesn't present an option for connecting to a device that's hard wired other than connecting the printer directly to that device by usb.

I personally prefer laser printers, at least for documents. Sure, an inkjet is usually cheaper (not the one I have though, it's a $1000 pro photo printer..) and the quality is better, at least in color, but it gets expensive really quickly when you have to replace your 75% full dried up cartridges. That never happens with a laser, as the toner is already dry. The photo printer I have is insanely ink thirsty too, that's the main reason why I eventually got a b/w laser for documents. I changed all 10 (!) cartridges about every other month at probably $150 each time (and I don't print that much), and at my rate I recon the toner cartridge should last me in excess of year and the drum probably upwards of 3-5 years...

There's a cheaper alternative other than buying ink from HP, get a generic one. A full set of hp 950/951 ink cost AUD$200(I paid the printer for less than that), and a set of generic cost AUD$31.5.

3:24 - yeah but you know that's horsesht. Printer ink is a scam. It never uses ALL the ink. It usually drops to half, and tells you to change it, or else the HP refuses to print. I wish i could find a laser printer that was worth buying, because all the customer reviews I've seen for the ones for home indicate it's money in the garbage for the specific models.
