Something to note about the USB-C: It requires USB-C Gen 2 as the necessary power draw is incredibly high. It is sad that the included adapter does not cover all of these bases.

what is 15w port? i cant get the mouspads sidelights on... while i have connected the mousepad with usb c thunderbolt on laptop hp spectre360..but the charging and sidelightning isnt working..anyone has any guide or tip? thanks

I just picked one of these photon mice off ebay for about 70$ new in box. I don't like how you cant use it with openRGB, and the biggest annoyance is that the scroll wheel is making a clicking sound every time I scroll down. I had a wired hp omen mouse for about 6 years and it never had this issue. Its nice not having a wire anymore on my mouse but I still feel like I wasted my money and could've bought something better.

this mouse is ambidextrous so you can move the buttons to whatever side is more comfortable for you! The side buttons are removable and magnetize into the mouse.

i dont have the dark core pro se, but the wireless charging on the outpost charges phones as well as any wireless/qi support tech, the phone charges really slowly though because not enough watts i suppose, i love my outpost tho

One lacking of Omen gaming perperials is they don't sync at once, you have to set individual.....

@@NoisyPixelNews what i mean is that, all omen pherperials rgb sync together, if my keyboard is in red rgb then my mouse and headshet should in red in rythem....just like steelseries prims lighting

hey, i want to know the compatibility of the outpost, i have the logitech g502 wireless can it charge that? (on a website it says it works but i want a confirm from a user) and also do you need to place it on the top of the dock in order for it to charge? and it only charges when the PCs on right? i just subbed and are interested to buy this because of your review, thanks in advance

You can use any qi capable wireless charging device, and it's at the top dock of the mousepad, it doesn't charge on the pad itself, also the pc does not have to be on :)

I have all HP omen current gear, let me say unless your PC has a USB new gen port the mats features do not work fully!!!! Also the mouse is veyry glitch - looses sharpness very quick and th elight functions need refreshing - hoping they will fix this with an update to software soon!!!

I can say that I do have to agree, also I've been having a lot of trouble with the software not opening at all and I tried many different things to fix it. I do think it's stylish tho

SO after going over a lot of the reviews that I used to help me make my decision to buy the Photon I really had a hard time believing I was the only one to have issues with this mouse. In any event, I felt like I should warn everyone, this mouse is not it. From day one this mouse has been an issue, very laggy this was the case when it first came out of hibernation, I then noticed that it did it very sporadically, They helped me with two replacements and still the same issue.. Since my pc is the Omen 30l they were able to troubleshoot to make sure it wasn't my PC. Eventually, I opted out and asked for a full refund, (which they gave me ) this mouse has so many issues,I couldn't recommend it at all .

I just got it from Amazon, plugged it into the closest port and zero lag, buttons are clicky and responsive, the software eats less resources than GHub. You might have had problems with it but I dont have the issues you mentioned

@@NoName94922 so yeah both the replacements as well as the original are trashed I actually in search of funding what the issue was changes my set up as well as re installed my os.... Every other mouse works great but these... And furthermore it took some time but they also started messing up on my wifes work PC. Maybe a bad batch either way I'm taking it like a g I returned one kept the other and holding one as they assured me I didn't have to return it ( so tech kept 2 of the 3) if you or anyone else wanna help me out I'll send it and give it a try... Again I'm really believing it's the mouse ( I have a cot damn omen 30l figured it should work great on that ) .... I'm willing to take an l if it was my set up.. But for now I'm convinced it's shit

Yeah.. because razor viper just have a response time of 1 ms if you want to flex buy the razer if you wanna game buy the razer/photon

Being that the PS4 supports a mouse, I would imagine it does work, but I haven't tried it, so don't yell at me if it doesn't lol

The lights only work with USB c, and it provides a dual USB 2.0 cable, so if you have either of those I think it's worth a try

You obvioulsy don't know how friction works. Less surface contact equals less friction.

True but less surface equals more pressure on the mousepad, so if you use dot skates, you feel more friction cause the mousepad bends under their pressure
