Really useful video. Thank you. Followed along up to the point where you referenced removing screen adhesive and then was unable to find the link to your other video with the removal. I finally found where the adhesive was on my laptop and managed to remove the screen. However, I have the same issue, the touchscreen doesn't work. Did you find a source with a compatible functioning touchscreen? Thank you!

Yup, tried that and still nothing. Tried to troubleshoot and touchscreen still not working. Have ordered another screen from a different supplier, hopefully that will resolve it 🤞

Did you get the part number off of the original screen? Is touch enabled in the bios? Is it enabled in the device manger in Windows?

looks like that screen does not have a Screen Digitizer Glass, just a regular bezel

Just purchased one from ebay for a 15-eg0070 and the packaging looks identical to yours thin box, bubble wrap, cardboard with pink foam, clear tape holding it to the cardboard, film on screen.. Thinking I purchased from same vendor.. Guess what.. no touchscreen on mine either.

I ordered a replacement for part # M16342-001.. Manufacturer number is B156HAK02.1 Still have it installed in the laptop until I hear back from them, used adhesive strips so waiting before I tear them out as I have only 1 more pair.. but I suspect the manufacturer # is different.
