I think for anyone watching this video who doesn't know the course, it's worth mentioning that this course indeed has a a lot of uphill, and/or "pedal haaaahhhdah" sections. The sand pits are obviously one of those spots, but less obvious is perhaps after the exit of sand pit 2, the course starts to drag upwards at a 2 to 3% incline, making sure that recovery from the effort you put in to get through the sand doesn't really come until you hit that tricky right hand off camber corner turn when there's a natural speed limit. Then off course, it slopes up a bit more heading towards pit one...and then...well you get the point. There's a lot of "secret climbing" on this course. Love it!
