HPI Firebolt 15t Motor - Tamiya TT02 Upgrades

Fitted the HPI Racing Firebolt 15T motor to the Tamiya TT02 for my speed run project

Nice run dude, I have this hpi motor in the original Sprint, I think it was HPI stock motor that came with alot of their cars , it never could keep up with my tamiyas 🙂

Thought I’d throw it in and give it a go. Will be swapped out later in the project.

The shock springs have no load on them and will be fine with the car on the ground.

Shocks added no speed when upgraded.

What's the rpm of that motor?

@@rctamiyaaddict4687 apparently just found out that its suppose to be 30,000+rpm these are cheap Chinese trash they have internal plastic fan like the Fake sports tuned black can motor, that have no underload rpm gutless rubbish

Thats a nice place you live. Must be nice in winter time, no snow. Not a fan of that motor, it reminds me of some fake cheap chinese shit you can buy on temu

Thought I’d give it ago but feels I should have got more speed out of it. Have a super stock I’ll be putting in there later. Would love a bit of snow, but it doesn’t happen often down on the coast.

That is very slow for a 15t motor, that may not be a genuine item. Put the super stock rz in😂👍🏼

I think the esc would just cut out if it couldnt handle it. What esc is it? Mine came with a carson which was terrible, i swapped it out for a hobbywing quicrun 1060 and it works a treat
