Nice and quiet and clear of people early in the morning!

The heavier components are probably the culprits. But, you'll thank yourself later when you put in a hotter motor, and the shaft doesn't twist itself like the plastic one would. I have the metal shaft and cups in my TT-02 and a 13 turn motor, and don't want to think what the plastic shaft would look like.

Yeah it’s all about the endgame. We’ll up the speed as we go along. Thanks for taking a look.

Certainly a need as you rightly say the plastic shaft will twist once you start to apply more power. Keep going pal and great content 🙌🏻

Thank you! Guess I’ll need to go backwards before we can go forwards.

@@rctamiyaaddict4687 one thing I learnt from the Poor Boys Speed Run sessions was you can’t have power without control. Working on those things that provide stability is just as important as it gets faster 👍🏻

Totally agree on that. The car handles ok at the moment, but I have a steering and shock upgrade waiting in the background.

Awesome!, i stuck a super stock rz motor in mine, all metal gearing and yeah racing front and back upper and lower arms, it is quick now for a brushed motor car😎👍🏼

Very nice! I have the same motor ready to go in later down the line.

As long as the shaft hasn't any extra forces on it.,(ie.. oring/ spacers) it's a win. The noise and vibration alone from the plastic unit is reason enough.

Think it’ll prove it’s worth when we eventually go faster speeds. Thanks for watching.

I would go through and check it over, something didn't sound right. Also i noticed the plastic part that is under the steering that holds the bearing was on backwards.
