I definitely thought about that too. Especially when the Savage XL with K5.9 came out. The TVPs on this kit are actually extended length, not as long as the XL TVPs, but definitely a little longer. Unfortunately, the twin engine mounting plate & engine mounts will not fit on the Savage XL TVPs. For the tanks, Im still experimenting; Im going to go with a single tank setup w/ lines to both engines from it. I should have enough room behind the engine to make it work (I hope)

This specific kit was made by New Era Models. I dont know if they are in business anymore. Another twin engine kit comes form Hot Bodies Truckzilla, specifically the Twinzilla kit. I dont know if they make that anymore either, but I'm pretty sure you can find a few on several RC Forums for sale by previous owners.

I bought the twin engine TVP kit from New Era Models. I do not know if New Era Models still make this kit; if they don't, check EBay or CraigsList for the possibility of a used Twin Engine TVP kit for Savages. Another option is to look up the HPI-Hot Bodies Twinzilla kit. That might still be in production somewhere.

Kool looks great But you should of use the extened chassis. That way you can get the fuel tank that set inside the chassis. That fuel tank is no good. Thumbs up.

The kit come from New Era Models, I bought it about 5 or 6 years ago. I do not know if New Era makes them anymore. But try to give them a call to see if they still have them even though this kit is not on their website anymore. neweramodels.mybigcommerce.com/

I forgot to add that there was also another company that made a twin engine Savage kit. It was made by HPI's subsidiary, Hot Bodies. The kit was called Truckzilla Twinzilla. Hit up the classifieds, especially on the RC forum websites. There are guys who are selling their Twinzilla or New Era twin Savage kits from time to time. Even though he kits are typically just the TVPs and extended engine plate, you can easily modify any nitro Savage into a twin engine Savage with one of these kits
