This is my TREAT for working! Spring 1960, last day of my three weeks in Junior High (my challenged little brother needed constant care which I provided after my last day of 3rd Grade) Dad in Government work and mom getting her PhD. Kids gathered in the playground as a white Starliner sporting red interior with my Home Room / English teacher and her husband slowly drove by. Jaws dropped lower than the windows. Chris, your build is a tribute to the Starliner!!!

I love the detail and the fact that they didn't mold things like door handles into the body. The engine detail especially. Really nice kit and a very inspiring build.

These were cool cars. The 3-2 brl. carbs were actually mounted backwards to clear the distributor. That FE engine is super detailed. Those five spoke mags look like Astro Supremes. Great kit.

Nice build and nice kit. Love that FE 352 engine with options. Too bad AMT didn’t create 1960 Canadian Meteor front and rear grills and taillights as a custom option.

I missed the '60 Starliner oh so much, I STILL have my Grampy's Sunliner convertible, along with the matching Candy Corn metallic Mercedes Benz ML320 that both had a 'posies' custom colour schematic... I'm thankful for they have a home now in Santa Fe ... My wish now, is seeing Round 2 do a snazzy Hot Rod versions and sell 'em, TOGETHER!!! I wouldn't even mind a Sunliner, custom or stock!

Well done Chris.... I've be in love with Starliners ever since I saw a 1961 custom green metalflake job right out of the pages of HotRod magazine. The movie "The Hollywood Knights*" a movie that that had teenage trouble making any the Hot Rod car scene just as cool as American Graffiti and did in the late 60s . * The Hollywood knights (1980) Tony Danza Michelle Phiffer 😍 (wearing knee high while boots with 4" heels... WOW ! ) A Cult car guy movie with dozens of cars taken right from the pages of HotRod magazine.A must see movie for every car. Wicked cars, beautiful ladies, and crazy fun and general trouble to be had all. An easy 7.5/10 & it takes place on Halloween night 1965 👺 The car star is the famous Yellow HotRod Project X 1957 Chevy that they are still working on decades later... ✌️😎 🎄

Message to Round2: Please stop overlooking hobbyists who want to build kits as factory stock. Include the necessary stock parts, so we aren't waiting an unknown number of years for release of a new factory stock version.

This kit was out for some time as a bone stock kit, it's still relatively easy to find.

@@BigSkyModelWorkshop Sorry but I'll explain further. A lot of us don't use ebay or purchase from online website sellers, or buy 2nd hand, we buy strictly from local hobby shops to help them stay in business. So the kit isn't available to a lot of us, and the fact a kit was out a long time many years ago does not forgive Round2 for excluding the stock parts right now in this current kit release. Unless they do something like an altered wheelbase body that cannot be ever built as factory stock, they should always include all the stock version parts.
