It's such a simple song...just basic chord turnarounds throughout. But every chord is PERFECT and interesting and serves the song and lyrics. It's an uplifting life-affirming yet bittersweet song. Yeah...it's perfect. One of those rare songs I'd kill to have written myself...

Hearing this song takes me back to my days as a broke college freshman driving to school in a old car with no a/c. I’ve come a long way since then, but part of me wishes I could hit the reset button and experience it all over again.

Wow they crushed this. I was still a big Ozzy fan in those days, but I did catch this SP concert or one like it on PBS back in the day and recall being very impressed at the time. Just now exploring their music more thoroughly in these dark days since my divorce, I find that I feed off of the energy and have a lot of motivation to push forward. Makes me feel confident that I'll bounce back stronger than ever.

Great performance. This was pretty much at their peak. Great band, great albums, great music. Love listening to them to this day. Of all their songs, it's interesting how *Bullet With Butterfly Wings* gets so much circulation on terrestrial radio.

BWBW is still one of the great all time radio rock jams, plain and simple. it's just a stunning and brutally effective hard rock song. That said, Muzzle and this other side of SP is what makes them such a timeless and unique band. Two extremes on the same disc!

For a rocker, Billy has always enunciated his words well. He rarely mumbled unlike other singers. As a result, misheard lyrics seem pretty rare for SP songs. And for that, I’m thankful.

Iha is one of the reasons I picked up a guitar, I love this song, it defines my high school days and the greatest generation of all time, X. What a great time it was to be a young man in high school, in love with life and youth. Melancholy and the Infinite Boners.

I made out with Darcy outside a club attached to the Selby Hotel in 1996. I was 24 years old, a good-looking fit young fellah and brimming with confidence. She was into me, and I had no idea who she was until she told me. She told me a phone number but I forgot it almost right away. We didn't have cell-phones then so there was none of that. What a blast! Life is hilarious.
