Just seeing this, thank you for sharing your expertise. Having taught & coached various things (academic & athletic), I notice & appreciate someone who knows their subject on a very deep level. This helped so much 🤙 As you know, it becomes increasingly important as we age to work smarter all the time. I've studied handstands in years past but your coaching has been a catalyst. May God bless you & your family with health & prosperity 😁

Awesome job guys! Dave is really good at breaking down the progressions. One of the many reasons why I chose to teach Handstands myself

Nice tutorial. Isn't back to yo wall contradicting holding the hollow body though ? I think for beginners its easy to make mistakes. LE: you mentioned the diwnsides later in the video

Not if done correctly. A hollow position can be more exaggerated in some movements (Like swinging movements), but in a handstand the hollow is more subtle and is really focused around pushing through the lower back and flattening that out. When back to wall, the angle should be coming more from the wrist and maybe a little bit from the shoulders, and not arching back so much from the lower back...and in this way, the subtle hollow can remain intact.
