Are those blocks solid concrete or are they hollow? I find it hard to believe that a single engine could pull that without the wheels slipping.

These ones are cast at Grain, on the Thames estuary in North Kent.

161 segments, 23 complete rings, enough to make 36 metres of tunnel. With 2 machines doi g about 12 metres per day each, that's enough for just a day and a half.

Then I guess it adds up that this train runs approximately 5 days a week!
