sweet vn....i have the 1989 vn 5ltr berlina wagon.the sv is a big step up from that. mine has had a in and out resto. I bought a 1991vn wagon Spac new mainly because of the drivers leg room which was more than the falcon at the time. The VN is a very comfortable car to drive for me
@GTZ052 ай бұрын
I’d love to see that.. have a soft spot for the Berlina’s. Bet yours looks better than new and being a V8 is perfect.. the driving position is great, one of the reasons I feel so at home in the VN-VS models.. not only is there heaps of leg room, the low seating position is comfy for me.. in the equivalent Falcon, I feel like I’m high like a bird on a perch.

It’s sure is, but the sound makes up for it 🤣

It's not about the speed it's about the cruise and visceral experience. Who wants to be in a hurry when you're just enjoying every moment of thr drive. Going through a separation ATM and my Holden Cars are the main thing that keeps me sane and grounded even if mine are VF and WM series Grange Era
@GTZ055 ай бұрын
@@thomasclayton169 exaclty right, it’s all about the experience and not the speed.. I get how the cars would have kept you sane during this time. The end of the line Holdens are also a great thing, hope to have a VF someday!
@thomasclayton1695 ай бұрын
@@GTZ05 Thanks mate, the VF is a stock sv6 sportswagon circa 2013 i. A rare Regal Peacock green colour, sure its not a v8 but still a nice car all the same and came to Me as an ex lease company car for a place I once worked at and tragically went into voluntary liquidation. That car has seen me through the great highs and lows of my life and never has once let me down unlike what some Humans can do.... I guess you know what I mean when we say cars are a rolling time capsule of memories not just merely a lump of metal, glass, plastic and rubber!
@GTZ055 ай бұрын
@@thomasclayton169nothing wrong with a V6 and it sounds like your SV6 has found it’s forever home.. too right, humans let you down, cars are more than rubber steel and plastic and they are definitely a time capsule to the past, that’s the reason I have a few VN models goes back to childhood memories and also my first car was a VN. Anything that offers enjoyment and a distraction is always a good thing 😊

Sounds healthy as. I sold my vr ss manual years ago. 2010.. it was 165kw stock with a few upgrades 210 when sold. Didnt sound as gruny as this car. My wife is still yelling at me 14 years later.. 😅

Thanks so much, So true, I was lucky back in 2018 I paid $300 which was still lower than what most were asking and the cars were also cheap back then before the covid bubble hit.

Hey mate just watched your video love the vn wagons, sedans, but some parts of your car you can clay bar, cut and buff just to try bring the paint back to life a bit. But measure it first. Love it, keep the content up
@GTZ056 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, it definitely comes up, initially I used to buff it up and it looked decent, but I really want it to be mint, it’s rare and I think it deserves to look near new 🙂, I have 2 of these wagons so if you haven’t seen my video of the other LE, check it out
