can this tool be used to carry out particle measurements in mines?
@VacLab Жыл бұрын
It measures particles contained in the air, but not particle types. Miners probably want to know types as well as amounts.

Nice video. On the 0.3micron scale, does it count ~0.3micron particles, or does it register everything between >0 and 0.3micron as 0.3micron? Is there any falloff?
@VacLab4 жыл бұрын
It's a complicated series of "limited bandwidth" charts per sensor. Probably more like detection plus or minus a certain percentage from the center target value.

So how happy are you with the device?
@VacLab5 жыл бұрын
Tremendously happy with it. And it's also more sensitive than those single channel, overpriced IQAir meters (based on air sample volume).

@@VacLab Nice one, I shall get one too. I was debating between this one and the TemTop LKC-1000S
@VacLab5 жыл бұрын
@@DragonXDrei it appears your model doesn't read 0.3 um particles, only 2.5 um and 10um?

Thank you for the video. I can see that the device makes a measurement every 20 seconds. Is it possible to make continuous measurements for, let's say, every one second? Also, does it come with an SD card or how is it logging the data?
@VacLab7 жыл бұрын
Paul C look closer. It takes a reading every 10 seconds. They are taken at 30, 20, 10 and lastly zero.
@Nastraspino7 жыл бұрын
Oh, that's right. I've got confused by the first 50s - 30s step and the small-to-no difference in values. Does it stop at zero or it can continue? And what about the data-logging? Does it have a card?
@VacLab7 жыл бұрын
Paul C this version of this model can log data internally, but only every 10 seconds. For $130 USD, it's fantastic! For more specs, take a look at my "I Bought A Particle Meter" video.

How does this particle tester stack up to the IQAIR?
@VacLab7 жыл бұрын
Timothy Connell there are three IQAir instruments on their webpage. The lowest one (Lite) lists for $2095 and all of them can only display one particle size at a time. I'm definitely loving the HT9600 because of it's overall acurracy and capabilities. For complete specs, see my first particle counter video.

I wonder if this machine is accurate.I may pick up one of these to try.Air quality is very important to me .Keep the videos coming. Maybe you can test the Dyson next.
