Anyways, I know what you mean so I am sure what you meant is why wouldn't the scientists in a present day be informed about this. Originally, that mutated virus was locked up at the researching lab at that village 30 years ago. Natsuko Honda (the research scientists) tried to cover it up from her daughter Chiemi but accidentally got herself killed in the process all because she just wanted to keep her daughter safe. For that reason, it spread to the village causing the king's game to begin. I guess that mutated virus took advantage that the village may not be highly populated so that mutated virus went like hmmm, lets start with this village and force the villagers to play my game that way, they don't have a way to call for outside interference. It is clear that this virus killed the scientists first then force the rest of the villagers to play the game. That is part of the reason why Chiemi's father was forced to play that game and attempts to save everybody just like Nobu. So we may assume that virus must of killed those research scientists to shut them up so that they cannot report it world wide.

2 things I wonder right now. 1st the dice game: It sounded like the roller would die regardless, so why role at all? Why play the game if you've already lost it? 2nd: It sounds like this whole game is a death sentence that even if you win, your still forced to play forever. So is it worth continuing, especically since the game can kill you when it wants like with the dice game, where your death (as roller) is guaranteed? If the game continues without you that's one thing (Which I assume is the case) but if it's actually your decision to continue the game, then it seems not continuing is the better answer.

It is just like when you go to join the military, you cannot bark orders on your superior saying I quit. Once stuck in a deadly game, there is no getting out of it by force. The virus king won't be dumb enough to give participants a power to shut down the whole entire game. If that participant attempts that, then the king kills.

Just to add onto some stuff that was mentioned here: - The first two students mentioned in the video died by hanging I believe - Daisuke (the "band practice" kid, even though it was at his house lol) would've been fine due to idk how many minutes until midnight, due to his clock being ahead, but he would've died by then anyways because he avoided an order - In the manga there was an extra game (they kind of showed it in the live action) where they had to draw 1-3 pieces of paper and whoever got the 100th paper died (live action was whoever got the last pens snapped out of existence) - The "other" piece of paper that voted the girl off to a punishment was there before he read it to her, she just didn't bother unfolding the full thing to see her best friend voted against her - Nami's choice to "touch the king" was admittedly smart even despite the risk, because it ruled out that it was a classmate, and honestly she could've lived but she didn't wanna live if it meant she'd be blind forever... - The girl who knocked out Nobuaki before crying and dying was only simply a crush of the blue-haired guy whose name I forgot, he tasked Nobuaki with watching over her because he knew he was gonna die - The girl in the hospital was not sick, persay, in a physical sense, but she was certainly trying to get out of the game, but the guy forcing Naoya to name people just said to kill her because she wanted to go anyways - Chiemi's death, surprisingly, was different in the manga, the two managed to survive the order that was laid out to them by telling themselves in their mind they wanted to live, it worked but Chiemi succumbed to the leg wound from earlier "It's about to get much more twisted" with that clip is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen for a pun *Spoilers ahead:* Chiemi was the king due to her dad being cursed from the first King's Game, he was in love with his cousin and due to the village shunning them, his cousin broke a vase with the virus inside. That cousin became the original king. When the protagonist (Kazunari, Chiemi's dad) had to pick to continue the game or quit, he rejected it and cursed the world to bring back his cousin one day. The one-syllable messages participants got sent after their death even mentions this. Years later he got married, had twins, named one after the cousin and hit her as a baby, so she got sent to live with her grandmother. Then one day Chiemi got the King's Game message and practically became the king, and of course the dad regretted it, but the King's Game got him killed in the end. Overall, the King's Game is messed up, I know people don't like the anime but I can say that King's Game Origin is better even despite that upper spoiler bit, sorry I made this too long normally I make my comments short and sweet, this video is very nice, keep up the great work

I would love to see you try to explain how to survive without using “meat shields” you’ve already used. So many times in your videos you’ll say “use this person as a meat shield” and then repeat on the next scene, but if they’d used them the first time they’d obviously not be there. How would one survive without having incite meat shields?

If you watched King's Game, you will know that it is possible to be the sole survivor of the 1st king's game without using meat shields. Remember how Nobu won the 1st king's game? At least he wasn't using anybody as a meat shield. He was actually trying to save everyone. So if a person explains how to beat King's Game, they don't have to use any characters as an example because chances are everybody in king's game dies. Nobu died in the 2nd king's game and Riona became a sole survivor only to commit suicide. You also saw that Riona wasn't using anyone as meat shield to win. Just because a narrator did not cover it does not mean it is possible.

@@hp2546 That is true. However, this creator is saying he’ll show you how to survive, and then gives solutions that become impossible if he’s following his own demonstration. It’s not just King’s Game; I was binging a bunch of his videos when I made this comment. If he’s going to make “How to Beat” guides and then constantly use “meat shields” that he used during a previous solution they just wouldn’t be there and his guide becomes hardly a guide at all. It’d be way more interesting and a testament to his survival skills/ cleverness if he followed through saying, “now in the last solution this person would be dead, so we’re gonna solve this a different way” rather than saying “We’re gonna kill X to solve this, then in the next problem we’re gonna kill X to solve this.”

I think the best way to beat the King's Game that was overlooked here is to get Number 2 to sit on your lap, Number 3 to hug you, and Number 1 to rest their head on your lap, all the while consuming numerous drinks on the rocks. Number 4 will accuse you of hogging all three of them at once, so giving Number 4 a piggy back ride is optional.

That girl only got the god title based on winning 1st place in the online video games. So in her last moments, she is more like using her god title to make a sacrifice going down with a bang. She may be dead but her god title legacy continues. So in a way, the king killed a girl holding a god title. That girl is called god of gaming for winning 1st place in her online gaming and many video gamers feared her. She keeps her god title a secret the same way the king keeps his identity a secret. So in a last moment, the king managed to kill a god.
