Steps:
Step1 Remove the back cover
Step2 Remove the charging port and motherboard bracket
Step3 Remove the worn battery
Step4 Install the new battery and test it
Step5 Put back the back cover

Hi Wit Rigs. Nice job on this video. I have 2 HTC phones suddenly stop charging. This video was very easy to follow along with even though I was repairing my HTC U11 Life which is a slightly different model. I'm to say the operation was a success. My phone stopped flashing and shutting off when it wasn't plugged in. My HTC is back from the dead! Now, on to my old HTC 10 for my next operation. Thank you for this very helpful video. You are amazing!

you do NOT need to remove the charging port to replace the battery, especially 3:01 is too delicate to risk doing that for no reason whatsoever

hi man, I want to ask you someting. Why did you remove the screws bottom of the phone ? Can I repair the battery without remove ?

Remove the bottom parts can make it easier to remove the battery.

well he put a whole teardown even for charging port, so people searching on just dont remove the battery can perfom it

@@EricWitrigs i had 2 lg v20 and both died on row stupid me, i buy them because the easy battery replacement but thanks to you i will buy a htc 11, i must ask a favor do you know another phone with a easy battery fix like the htc 11 ?, i destroy the battery so fast because i use a external dac and i listen music all day, so i charge my phone about 2-3 times each day

My U11 is blinking Orange and wont turn on. I bought a New Battery and even a new chargingport. Installed both but the led is still flashing orange. Does anyone know another solution or does anyone have another idea?

Just did this repair and for whatever reason the audio is coming out of the ear speaker. I don't know why.

That's normal, my u11 always used both speakers for media sound/ most apps. The ear speaker works as only speaker only when the phone detects that yore holding it cokes to your ear, in fact when you're calling someone. Ina nearly every other situation both speakers are active.
