Hi, here are some references and elaborations :) 00:31 红墙青瓦 literally means 'red walls, green/blue tiles', but this specifically refers to the walls and tiles used by the imperial family. So imagine the outer walls of the Forbidden City (red walls, yellow roof tiles). 01:10 苍狗 can refer to multiple things, but in this case, I think it refers to 白云苍狗 an idiom that first appeared in the Tang Dynasty poem 《可叹》by Du Fu. 白云 = white clouds 苍 = dark blue-ish colour 狗 = dog Refers to how clouds in the sky are white one moment, but in the next, becomes dark-coated dogs running across the sky. It's a metaphor for how the world is ever-changing, nothing ever stays the same.
