So, Huawei wants to get rid of U.S Tensions, and to make it happen, Huawei just teamed up with a secretive Chinese chipmaker and issued a new patent regarding a new Brute-Force system to produce more advanced chips. The company is putting in efforts to boost its chip production in the region despite U.S. restrictions. So far, the Chinese tech giant used foreign equipment to build its chipset products. One of them is the ASML extreme ultraviolet lithography tech equipment. However, the U.S. trading rules just put a full stop to that method, so now, the firm is working on a mechanism based on the (self-aligned quadruple patterning) to lessen its dependency on lithography.

It is a money grab. US congressmen has to show something to the people that they are "working". Of course, the investigation is an exercise in futility because foreign companies are in no way obligated to follow US departmental regulations. Just remember, US sanctions are not based on law. They are all executive orders made by the POTUS. However, even if they are lawful, US jurisdiction end at their borders.
