There is a Ryzen option, though it's the 5000 series. Still pretty capable.

I have the Matebook 14s and it is a great laptop and def would recommend Huawei. In the UK we get some great value and the Matebook 16s is £1299 and a free Mateview (£500). That makes it probably the best value 15-17 inch ultrabook over here, much cheaper than the LG Gram, Surface Laptop 4, and base XPS 15 (with no dGPU).

Doesn't the fan noise bother you? I have the Matebook 14s as well (i7 version) and whenever it is connected to an external monitor or to the power, the fans are always turning on and off. Otherwise, very solid laptop indeed.

Have you ever tried an eGPU via thunderbolt? Makes the value much higher for a laptop without a GPU since all you need is a good CPU

In the past I would have been interested but after getting an Apple M1 machine, sadly anything intel related is just dead to me. Having zero fan noise at all and 13+hrs of real world battery is just too good to ever go back.

My Huawei Mate 14s can also use for the whole day and just spend around 2 hours or less for the fully charged🤣. There is no any noisy fan sound unless I rendered large video in Vegas Pro or Playing High Resolution Game.

thanks for the review. Even though Huwai is copying Apple in many ways in this laptop but the only thing I Like is that they made a good trackpad and a good keyboard and that is the most important thing in a laptop for which Apple and Microsoft perfect in their laptops
