Wow, a lot more impressive than I was expecting. Only minor point was on the close orbit, the background seemed to step but this was a seriously impressive test. Congrats on being first and thank you for producing such an informative video/ Have subbed and look forward to more testing., especially a range test. Hopefully this may give DJI a kick up the backside to bring in more features. The line flight and simple waypoint look so good.

I payed $667.00 including taxes and free shipping 2 months ago on ebay for the mini 2 fly more combo...the hubsan mini retail for like 50.00 less with 4 batteries bundle...i doubt the mini 3 are gonna cost less than the mini 2...so nope they are not gonna give us more for less as you said...i think the hubsan offer can't be beaten with all the features for the price right now or for a while.

Huge shame it doesnt :( Personally I dont care at all about activetrack or obstacle avoidance, but shooting videos in d-log for better colorgrading is currently missing from all sub250g drones. I really hope they will add it, combined with its huge sensor we would get huge amount of data to play with while grading..

Wondering what camera settings you were using. The video looked a bit choppy during fast orbit and panning, but otherwise very good. Also do the settings allow adjustment of zoom rate?

i did not use any manual settings. for any video review, i use only auto settings to see the image quality on auto settings, because most of the consumers only will use auto settings. zoom rate seems to be fixed to 2.0X only

The video looks good and straight horizon, that why I will be buying the se model, way , cheaper, I dont need a o, or hdr, or h.265. Long as it still has the same camera, with a 100 bitrate, as it claims with se model and the same active track as it claims, and ,the se has more flight time, the pro has 37. and the se 43, so it will be the se for me, .Se with singe battery is 349, pro with single battery 499.,lol but I will take the option with 3 batteries and it still less than the pros single battery deal. My evo 2pro already has hdr 265, and the best ao. besides skydio2, which is the the leader, in ao.

well dji is dji, they are on a different tech level. i heard they have no engineers now, only robots and computers AI is building the drone. factory is automated without human. Drones fly around from one point to another point for testing and quality inside their factories LOL :D its like DJI has turned into skynet already 😂🤣

@@jamescrowther7318 I agree with you that Hubsan has invested a lot of money, effort and time on this drone to make it the next big competition to dji, however, still if you compare dji R&D and dji Tech, features and mature drones, Hubsan still has a lot more hard work to do and I am sure hubsan is doing great and will reach to a good tech level to be the next big competitor to dji. in DJI Factories there is a less interaction of human now, most of the drone builds are now automated in their factories. their algorithms for pilot assistance (APAS) and such are very mature now. I can leave my dji MA2 tracking and following me in the thick of trees and it won't hit anything yet keep me in camera view and keep on following me. we yet have to see this from Hubsan or other competitors. The only drone that beats dji in tracking subjects, filming, obstacle avoidance no matter where and performance is SkyDio2. I wish I could get one.

When they full release this drone to the public they better have all the features working or they're gonna have a lot of unhappy customers. No excuse for them not to have these features working after all this delay time. It's good to have competition makes Dji up their game a little. I'm hoping the reason they haven't added active track is because they want the drone to be able to avoid obstacles and not just stop that defeats the whole purpose of active track.

@@ADSUPINTHIS I have experience working companies like that. Just like many business in the USA, send me the money and I will send you the product when I am done. But most of the time things gets delay, bad marketing, poor customer service and the developers moving from job to jobs... will cause what is going on with Hubsan. In fact they hire new developers better than DJI but the poor organization it does not matter what you have on the team. 1. Most important on this drone is the image quality, the definition of the image, everything else is secondary. If the image quality that I saw on this video was cause by the video editor and the original looks great, DJI will have to bring the Mini 3 ASAP with same kind price. I hope that is the case.

With the mini 2 even if you completely kill the battery it will still land safely somewhere. I'm curious if the hubsan will perform the same or if it will just free fall if you push it to it's brink. I saw many dji drones that were really tempting, then came mavic air 2. and i waited and I waited, until it got mature with all the fireware updates and I bought one. and i have never had any issues with Mavic air 2. then came air 2s and more is cooking at dji robotic factories lol. but yes these drones will get mature with firmware updates after lots of feedback from owners of these drones. so its best to be patient and wait.

Great video and explaining all the features of the drone nice to point out that it doesn’t have active track yet. As mentioned by other viewers by the time you receive one after purchasing the mini three will probably be out already, and probably to a lot of people like myself customer service after the purchase is just as important as the drone itself. That being said myself and probably lots of other viewers will end up going with the mini three because I don’t think you can compare Husbans customer service to DJI. One big difference between the two is if you buy a Mavic mini three from a store and you don’t like it you can always return it and get your money back try that with Husban…good luck as once you bought the drone you’re stuck with it because most likely the drone will be coming from outside of the United States. If you buy it within the United States from a retail store chain that carries it that’s another story but we will wait and see for that…..

Nice to have competition in the drone market. This means a large focus on quality. A Little bit sad the price isn‘t lower than the big competitor. I have a question concerning calibration. Is it supposed to do it before each take-off? What‘s happen with precise hoovering if you don‘t? How precise is it, when the battery is low? Does this impact a precise landing? Lot of questions but this thing is brand new and quite interesting.

i still have a few hubsan h501 s which are dated been flying dji minis this looks like a game changer if they sort out the firmware good vid man

Hi dave, welcome back buddy. we left dubai in 2 years. could not afford it any longer. Dubai sucked our blood dry even. China is home. I do not know if Hubsan wants to release a goggle like dji. maybe they will. I do not have any internal info. if i get info sure will share

Why can I see some jerkiness in the footage Maybe filming in 25fps? but very impressed with the drone, I will wight a bit before buying one to see how things go with it. Thank you for the video.

Maybe, or maybe he used an SD card not capable of handling the drone's bitrate. If not, then Hubsan has more work to do. I see some jello effect in the footage as well as the jerkiness you mentioned.

Tonight I flew it in light rain. i was testing and taking night shots and it started raining, I did not bother to land LOL. finished my work then landed and everything is good

Wow I couldn't believe my eyes flying characteristic is excellent and hovers very steady. I also have to agree power saving mode. when the drone isn't doing anything love the future!
