I have the exact same screen from other brand called newsoul, it is incredible i already have two extra portable oleds of 13" (1080p and 4K) but this by far is the best oled i have ever seen

I've been looking into the newsoul version but can't find much about it. Do you know if it's the same as this uperfect version? Also, did it come with touchscreen? I found it on Amazon and ready to hit buy. Hopefully you get back. Thx.

@steb5495 it is the exact same screen, in my case it is the non touch version, bought it for about $250 here in Mexico But it is the same panel, these Chinese brands just changes the box and then everything is the same

@@steb5495 yes it comes with a folding case, 2 USB c to USB c, ac adapter, 4 screws to mount it to a vesa arm and a HDMI to mini HDMI

i hope the next version O3 or whatever it supports VRR, peak brightness minimum 600 nits, and also there are options for bigger size 16, 18 or even 21 inch and options for the aspect ratio 16:10 or 16:9. plus please headphones jack please

If you use it with fast sync enabled on an nvidia gpu on a PC, you don't exactly need adaptive sync. It's nice to have still but not completely necessary

the most important thing that nobody talks about - what about PWM? if its more than 5% then it will greatly affect your eyesight. Many reviewers test this on phones but never on PC monitors

I have the non touch version so HDR doesn’t work for me. I don’t think it’s “certified” unless someone can tell me what I’m doing wrong. When I switch on HDR in windows or Mac it goes dim.

As I said: it's not certified HDR. Make sure you activate HDR in the Monitor menu as well. And yes windows looks weird when you turn it on. Only use it for videos and games that support it.

What am i doing wrong? I connect my steam deck and the monitor just says its on 2880x1800 100hz but at the bottom, it states 2880x1800 120hz max connected with usbc. I wanted it to work at 120hz with usbc

No it doesn't have g sync or freesync so vrr is also absent.

No touch for the Mac though probably. Mac os doesn't natively support touch screens. There could be some software to fix that though.

@Hubwood windows 11 or Vienna with previous name (updated build) - same... nobody see the difference - UPDATE MEANS EVERYTHING! So 16:9 and 16:10 - typing error. Update windows 11 on pentium 2 up to build 26000 and triumph is yours.

I genuinely dont understand the monitor market and its fixation on 27 inches as the lower end for gaming monitor sizes. 27 inches is beyond the upper limit of comfort as far as monitors go imo. I want to see the whole screen in my FOV and i dont want to bake my retinas with dual 32 inch screens that require i turn my head and take up the entirety of my peripheral view . but apparently im one of the few people who feel that way considering that this is the sole monitor of its kind.

Why would anyone want smaller display, it makes no sense. The bigger you go, the farther you can sit and beyond 1 m from the screen your eyes basically do not get tired at all. I have 48" monitor and I would only replace it for something bigger, I use it both for work, gaming and watching movies.

But for who, and why. that's what I want to know lol. Just get a laptop with a 17.3 inch oledd screen that's a gaming machine too if you want. I just don't understand the reason behind these screens. They seem so niche. I'm sure there are some odd things, but over all it's so silly.

Well why not have products for Niches? More people than you probably think buy these, otherwise they wouldn't be made, right? And you know what? Alot of people actually buy them as a second monitor for their laptop, because if your really working on a laptop on the go, 1 monitor might not be enough 🤫 Especially for software like Photoshop or premiere. It's just not efficient on one monitor. That's what I would use them for absolutely.

@@Hubwood A second monitor ha? I suppose that is likely the best case for it I think. And the likely use of it I'd imagine. I'm sure there are some who may carry around their xbox and for some reason not have a tv and us it for that, tho I'd wager that's a small majority. A second monitor is the likely use for it. I have no problem with it being niche. It's funny tho to see these kind of products. It always amuses me.

tons of people have portable monitors, whether its for a 2nd screen for a laptop, sff pc, embedded board / server / nas / raspberry pi debugging, the list goes on

@@v000000000000v I wouldn't say tons. I work at microcenter and I've had maybe...6 people in a year looking for a portable monitor. It's not common as expected. It is a niche item.
