For the screen on the yoke maybe some hold pattern count down timers or ete countdown to the next waypoint, or an aoa screen or fuel gauge or weather, terrain and wind. Better yet make it fully customizable so you can switch to what ever screen you need at the time.

I'm still holding out for the Honeycomb Alpha XPC & Bravo. At the risk of repeating myself from the comments in one of your other videos, I would be more tempted by the Velocity One if: The throttle levers had a tension adjustment (as you said in the video); there were six throttle levers instead of four (to accommodate flying twin GA aircraft and giving the possibility of having levers for spoilers and flaps on 4-engine airliners); the GA push/pull levers were lockable (as you also pointed out in this video); and the Xbox buttons were more subtle on the yoke (for example, using greyscale lettering rather than the primary colours), which would make it seem less 'gamey'.
@Huddison2 жыл бұрын
Fair points. If you have the budget for it, the upcoming XPC is a great option. Have you pre-ordered it?
@richavery662 жыл бұрын
@@Huddison I haven't yet. The only UK shops I've seen so far have it listed as available at the end of October/beginning of November (is that when you're expecting yours?), so I'm in no hurry to preorder it yet. For the front display what is the use of having features that don't exist on the fullscale aircraft your attempting to learn to fly with precision. There is double sided tape you can put on the bottom of the Throtalqyaderant so as to place it on the left side of the yoke to simulate as fling as the First officer/copilot or as an Instructor pilot. It took me about 6 hours with an instructor/pilot in the left seat to get get comfortable in the right seat after 800 + hrs in the left seat.
