@davidmagill1 in 1991 the slumbercoach was moved to the BOS section (at the same time the Lake Shore moved to NYP), meaning that this video likely predates Amtrak vacating Grand Central.

Amtrak Did buy some SPV's but dont run anymore on amtrak that was all in the 1980's

Didn't the SPV-2000's retire in 1991 by Metro North. Not CDOT Cuz their last run was like 2006

FL-9 #489 had a head-end genorator in 1992 so a turboliner was needed.

what does Metro North have against sweet sounding horns, they all make me cringe when they honk in these videos. is it just coincidence and all the trains with those horns just happen to pass right then?
