Hi Shelly! lol! yeah it's a really cool device, double check the price for it (link in video description) is only $279 not sure where you saw $530. But regarding the other HUD options on Amazon I haven't found any close competitors at the level of Hudway, if you do know some let me know and I can add to the list of HUDs to review. My order just arrived but because of the shape of my dash it looks like I have to place the unit too far away from my eyes making the image is too big. 😕 I have a 2016 Chevy Sonic.

What about on vehicles like the 2008 Tacoma where the seating is high and the dash has a slope downward toward the engine? How much "tilt-ability" do you have within the screen's usable range of motion?

Will this HUD work with the windshield HUD sticker ? instead of its original display?

Hi Ali! The Projection screen has special coatings to allow the projection to be seen easier and aimed correctly to your eye line (height). While I think it may be possible to remove the original projection screen to project onto a reflective film, I'm no sure how bright it the projection will be and you will loose the ability to aim the display so it can be seen by multiple drivers. But if you try it out and it works please let us know. Hope this helps, Cheers!

El adaptor OBD2 es opcional aqui el video explicando que agrega al systema kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6qwophtnKmZfM0 y aqui esta el link para el adaptor amzn.to/3sWPIFA supporta carros normalmente del 1996 en adelante pero en el link que puse hay puedes confirmar los protocols de OBD2 que suporta (9 protocolos). Hi Jonathan! not sure what you mean Bud, are you referring to the reflector? is so the reflective portion of the Hudway drive is just a hinge, I usually just leave it up to avoid wearing it down. Hope this helps, Cheers!

For the $$$$ you shouldn't have a clear plastic, the information should go straight the windshield. It just not worth the $$$. There are others for under $40. Most want the MPH. You put this in an expensive car and you will be laughed at.

Hi Lou! Normal windshields are setup to accept HUD projection from the factory (unless the car is equipped with a HUD from the factory). There are HUD projection films available, here is one amzn.to/3DjLZHN However they are not common since they are reflective and transparent from drivers view but from the outside view, they appear someone opaque (when seen from the outside of the car which can cause trouble with LEO) And if you are in a budget or just need a basic HUD here is a good alternative kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWipk5uQid2rl6M Cheers!
