Love your music and was fortunate to see you in concert a few years ago. I struggle with Meniere's too. Praying there is a medical breakthrough somewhere on the horizon for all of us.

I LOVE THAT HE IS BRINGING AWARENESS. As Menieres sufferer and lifelong musician (and the father of three boys that are musicians), I can relate completely. Mennieres (for me and for most) takes the lower frequencies. Hearing aids don't help with that much. Being in a club or any cacophonous space basically takes all the enjoyment out of music. Still amazing when its in person and close. I AM SO HAPPY THAT HE HAS SHOWN A LIGHT ON MENIERE'S (AND THAT HE CALLED IT A SYNDROME AND NOT A DISEASE). Kudos to him. I truly wish, like I'm sure he does, that I could listen to his music in stereo (and my sons' music). After losing mine between 35 and 42 after a life spent in music , I can understand. THANK YOU, HUEY for raising awareness. stay strong and record every chance you get.

Huey, keep the faith! I was born physically challenged with the birth defect spina bifida. When I was born, my parents were told I probably wouldn’t live long. I’m very proud and happy to say that I’ll be celebrating my 50th birthday on April 13! My point? Doctors aren’t always right.😁

To simply cope with the symptoms of Meniere’s Disease you need to be one tough cookie to keep smiling, Huey is just that, as a fellow sufferer for many years he has my respect for coping with it’s impact on his life, to a real musician it must be utter Hell, when I ‘lose’ music for months or years it drives me crazy, but to a true musician it must be almost unbearable. Respect Huey, take care.

I have struggled with this disease for 12 years. And it's lifelong. I'm only 37. I love music so much, and everything he says resonates with me. I go through bouts where my hearing is better for a few months, and then it gets completely horrible. Lose hearing in one year, feel unsteady, get dizzy, life isn't as good. Good on him for talking about it and spreading awareness

I am so sorry. I was diagnosed in 1990. Pretty deaf now in one ear. I continue to love music but i’m no musician, but my husband was and my kids are. The vertigo and vomiting really make life hard. I’m on diuretics now and will be fir a few months. It helped immensely in 1990. I hope it does the trick this time. Low salt , low sugar, no caffeine. No alcohol. Better to wuit those than go through those personal earthquake nightmares. Best wishes, Huey. 🥰🙏🤞🎶

I have Ménière’s too,,,,blows. Tough looking at computer to work and to drive at times. The only thing that really helps is caveman diet. Nothing 100% percent. Wheat and dairy completely gone . Anything bleached too like a wheat or corn in Doritos . Just one ear for me . Had it 25 years now . I got it at 25.

I am willing to accept Weather as the last album from HLN....I have had the good fortune of seeing them four times over their career....I just wish SOMEONE...SOMEWHERE..would just crunch the facts and put them in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before any of them die...because we all know...."The Heart of Rock and Roll..the Heart of Rock and Roll..is still beatin'.....IN CLEVELAND!!!!

My prayers are with him. I’ve had debilitating tinnitus for almost 5 years now. Used to write for Guitar World. He is correct .. music has become unlistenable. Hopefully a treatment is on the horizon

_…I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in October 2011, at the age of 44. I woke up one morning with numbness in my lower back and legs, I couldn’t feel my feet touching the floor and I also suffered from Anosmia & Tinnitus . I saw my doctor and had an MRI to see if I had a disc problem, it was negative and she told me she feared MS. I was sent to a neurologist, had two more MRIs, and was told that night that I have four lesions on my spine MS. I tried every shot available but nothing worked. In 2015, my neurologist and I decided to go with natural treatment and was introduced to Dr Madidia natural organic MS Herbal formula, i had a total decline of symptoms with this treatment, the numbness, terrible back pains, stiffness, body weakness, double vision, depression and others has subsided._

I have Menieres and I can say a hearing aid in the bad ear is my best advice to anyone. It will help with music, speech and just daily life in general
