@RREDDELL I'm a Sooner graduate, and I hate to take up for UT, but that was a terrible argument. We both know that UT Austin gets far and away the largest amount of the endowment. I don't think all of the other schools in the UT system combined account for 500 million of that 14 billion. If they do, it's not much higher than that.

@bitmopro Not to knock you off your high horse but UT only has a $14 Billion Endowment system wide. That means the $14B is between the 11 Schools and not just UT Austin. OU has a $1Bill by itself. Harvard leads the world @ $25 Billion.

@RREDDELL Educated guess, not wild. It doesn't take a genius to know that UT-Dallas and UT-El Paso aren't receiving 2 billion dollar endowments. I looked up the real amount and my wild guess was pretty damn close. The school in the UT system besides UT-Austin receive 610 million combined. Keep in mind the smaller UT schools are not going to receive the large private endowments that Austin receives and the majority of the wealthy alumni come from Austin.
