there are crazy amounts of problems getting this bike to be assembled. the front fork mounts were backwards and we spent a good couple hours trying to put on the front wheel before realizing it was backwards -- both of our faults i suppose but the video did not show the bike from multiple angles or zoom out properly so we did not immediately see the problem with it. the rear nut on our bike was tightened so tight that we couldn't loosen it at all. the seat could not be tightened at all, and mind you we spent a good couple hours making sure that we screwed on both bolts evenly. and many more but we gave up. everyone -- do yourself a favor and just buy a bike that's already been assembled, it's not worth to assemble it yourself if you're a beginner, or to go through the hassle of finding a bike shop to assemble it for you.

I’ve tightened the seat bolts to the point where they can’t be tightened anymore but the seat keeps moving side to side (not up and down, or even where the clamp is). Can anyone help?

Thanks for the video! Book did not make it clear to use a lug wrench to tighten steering. Also book was unclear on a lot of things. Very frustrating build. Watch this video instead for much easier experience..and flip the front tire around or eles the cover wont fit.

I'm having a problem with the rear bearings on huffy Cranbrook beach cruiser. They won't seat properly and I can't figure out why. I bought the bike from W. Mart, it didn't come with a dust cap to cover the bearings. How can I get them to seat properly without bending the bearing housing? Someone's got to know more about this quirk. When I go to tighten the nuts and come, it bends the bearing ring.

I am a complete novice and my model has front brakes. I have three pieces in my hand and no idea how to assemble. The manual doesn't tell me how to put back together and there is no video. I probably sound stupid but I have no idea and this is frustrating AF.

I did the front fender assembly exactly as you demonstrated. Once the uninflated tire was installed I could not prevent it from rubbing the entire length, inside of the fender. Of course adding air will only make it worse. What did I do wrong? Truly baffled.

Great information. My problem is the seat has a nut that sits inside the seat spring has come off. Any special trick to get the nut back on the nut. It is very hard to get in between that large seat spring. Thanks

Why can't you remove the chain and show how to put it on. I was painting the bike, but it seems that at this point I should've gotten the one at Walmart wasted a lot of money on painting it and it was a massive hassle.

@@HuffyBicycles I tried emailing huffy and you guys told me that there are no brakes applicable for the Cranbrook 🤔. But I know there are other bike options that have it and the Cranbrook still has the caliber mounting holes for the brakes. Anyway I ended up buying aftermarket ones from eBay.

Where are the brakes? These instructions do not explain how to properly install the front wheel with caliper brakes. Hardest part of the install but no instructions on how to do this.

To those who are frustrated with putting a bike together, just pay a few dollars more and pick up one at Walmart. I paid about a hundred dollars, and I take it to the local bike shop to have repairs done. This bike is so much better since I put mountain bike tires on it and replaced the chain.

My bike has some malfunction on it ,my fender is like a hook it not round like your so don’t matter if I screw they way your showing it still hooks off needs!! Washer and even with it don’t matter how tight I screw it it won’t go all the way in

Yup. Front tire was backwards from box. Wasted three hours and almost returned because the frame and brackets would not fit. Also, the brackets on back tire were not screwed on. Frustrating build, but looks and works great once you finish the frustrating puzzle.
